Relaxing, Quiet get away where you can enjoy the outdoors.

This house is a quiet little escape from the City. Enjoy the completely finished walk out basement with full bath, bar and sitting area. Enjoy the Wi-Fi and direct TV while working or grilling. We hope you enjoy your stay as much as we do. PLEASE NOTE, the lake is under complete renovation and currently drained for re-construction in August 2023. Thanks in advance, Shawn and Shelly Cooper

Our group rented Lincoln County home to use as a base for some local waterfowl hunting in the nearby Elsberry river bottoms. This is a very nice home and we were able to relax when not hunting. I am sure we will rent again.

Wedding Weekend

Me and family stayed here for the weekend since it was close to my daughter's wedding venue. It was perfect for our stay. Lots of space and my husband just adored it. The location, the decor....I think he was ready to move in. LOL Rachel Daugherty

Spacious

My sons wedding was north of Troy, we live in St. Louis and an hour drive back and forth for all the wedding events was just to much so we found this location and it was perfect. We were so busy we couldnt enjoy the peacful beauty of it very much but after some very long hectice days the quiet seclusion was theraputic. Very spacious for everyone to spread out with plenty of bathrooms with super hot water. My phone wouldn't download the check in instructions but the hostess was quick to respond and very friendly and helpful. We had some difficulty with the TV's but my cousin was able to get it figured out so I think it was user error. The master bedroom mattress needs turned as it slants towards the side closest to the door. I would definitely stay again to relax and take in the beautiful scenery. definitely worth it just to come back to

Great place to stay for our daughter's wedding nearby.

Our daughter got married on 9-21-24 in Troy. A lot of her family made the trip out from the Wichita, KS area. My wife and I (parents of the bride) the bride's brother and his wife, her aunt, cousin and her husband all stayed at the home very comfortably. Everything was so nice. The downstairs area was a big hit. Thanks so much for letting us stay at your lovely place.

Family reunion

Our 3rd year staying at this property. Love it! Just a couple suggestions for house- the kitchen needs more utensils, a large bowl, coffee cups, wine glasses. And a couple more bath towels.

Family Reunion

Second year staying on the property. Love the privacy of the location, lake and the well maintained lawn and adjoining grounds. The house is large enough for our family and very well maintained and clean. My sister lives in the area so it’s convenient for us to be together. Shelly always gets back quickly when I have questions. Great place to stay and will definitely try to get back next year.

Family reunion

We like the house. The kitchen needs some more essential items for cooking and dining. Hard to prepare a meal with what is there. Also, only had 1 dishwasher pod and we had rented for 4 nights.

Wedding retreat

Excellent location, beautiful home with everything you need, an extra bonus was the game area - my grandkids loved it. The quiet location was nice after a hectic day. Ability to contact the host was a breeze and timely. We will definitely try staying here again. 5 stars

Great place for a large group!

The location and the house itself was great! Check in would have been a breeze except the key was not inside the lock box when we arrived....but the owner responded quickly and gave us a code to get in within minutes so it was not really an issue. We were busy with wedding related events so did not spend too much time there other than sleeping but it looked like it would have been a great location for people to get together and just hang out there! It was pretty well stocked and we had everything we needed.

Awesome Hideaway

Impressive, off the beat, beautiful property! Close to our friends, and was so easy to get back and forth. Had a day trip into St. Louis, which was great. The next time we come back to see our friends, we would love to stay here again.

Peaceful, Country Setting

It was a pleasure to work with Shelly. She answered all our questions in a timely manner. The property was up to date and very well kept. Loved the privacy of the property and being close to relatives. Great views from every room.

Beautiful land around comfortable spacious home.

Beautiful and peaceful setting, home layout offers space to relax in addition to spacious bedrooms. Enjoyed seeing wildlife on morning walks near the pond.

Labor Day Family Reunion

This was a great home for our family stay. Very clean and great location. We hope to rebook this property again. The only negative would be the size of the beds. Owner may consider upgrading to at least Queen size. Thanks for making our weekend in Missouri very enjoyable.
