Well appointed home welcomes you PLEASE NOTE: We are outside of The Villages

This house is across the street from The Villages and spares you the winter traffic. The house lies within a community that offers a community pool, basketball court, tennis court, playground...a great place to visit relatives or find your next chapter home in The Villages. Our fee includes golf cart and cleaning (excludes VRBO fees) We are 4.7 miles to Lake Sumter Landing. Continental Golf course is 4.7 miles, Orange Blossom Hills CC is 7.5 miles and Mission Inn is 28 miles away. These courses offer online registering tee time and then no wait. We do not have The Village's golf privileges but you are free to enjoy Village town centers and dine in the clubs. We are exit 304 (Turnpike) and Disney exits are 267...so doable for a one day trip. Silver Springs is just 33 miles away, explore the Springs on a glass bottom boat. The very quaint town of Mt. Dora is close by - crafts and eclectic home goods galore. Shopping is practically around the corner with Publix, Home Goods, Bealls, Walmart (to name a few) and a brand new Hobby Lobby coming soon!

The home was great with everything you needed. Very nice host. Weather was too cold to use the pool. Fenced in yard was great for our two yorkies. In a nice location for all your shopping needs.

This was a wonderful home base for my visit to The Villages area. The house was spotlessly clean and incredibly well-equipped – seriously, every kitchen gadget and household convenience you could possibly want was there. It's clear the host takes pride in making sure guests have everything they need.Speaking of the host – absolutely top-notch. When bad weather rolled in and made travel conditions less than ideal, they graciously offered to extend my stay at no additional charge. That kind of genuine hospitality is rare and made all the difference.The neighborhood is peaceful and quiet, which I appreciated. The small inground pool (unheated) was a nice bonus, and the fenced backyard was perfect for my little dog to safely explore and enjoy some outdoor time.Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Everything you need!

This home is conveniently located between Spanish Springs and Lake Sumpter Landing, as well as easy access to attractions like Silver Springs and Disney. The home is very well stocked with nearly anything you could need/want during your stay. The owner was quickly responsive to the one question we had about golf cart access. It was a very nice place to stay.

Relaxing Stay

Overall cleanliness and the apportionment of all the daily use supplies (kitchen, bath, pool, bedrooms) made it feel like home. Communication with owners was easy. Thank you for everything !!!

Parkwood stay

Splendid place to stay near the Villages. Extremely clean, well stocked and very responsive owner. No access to Villages pools but neighborhood pool is great.

Amazing home

Definitely not the typical VRBO type rental, the little extras was great. The home is beautiful and functional for large family's. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking.

Amazing Home!

This is one of the best well stocked homes I've ever rented! Just about anything we needed was available. The owners were extremely pleasant and responded instantly to our messages or calls. The house was wonderful for our family to enjoy. We had 9 people there for one of the 4 1/2 weeks we were there and it was plenty big enough for all of us. We cooked in, grilled out and plenty of fun on the large Lanai. It was a little chilly in the pool but our grandkids used it anyway! The location is perfect, close to everything - only a golf cart ride away from almost anywhere. The home is beautifully decorated and we truly treated it as our home for the Month of March 2023. We are so sad it was already booked for 2024. I would highly recommend it.

Great home by the Villages

Great location in safe & quiet neighborhood near shopping and restaurants. Home was clean and spacious with everything you’d need. Pool and surrounding area were clean but weather was too cold for us to use. Price was great. Denise was helpful, friendly, and quick to respond. Overall great experience for our family at Christmas to escape the cold if a Michigan winter. The one thing I would recommend is bring cozy chairs for the lanai area if possible as the current dining set weren’t the most comfortable to relax and enjoy the sun. Highly recommend.

Wonderful place for a family to stay

We spent a week at this house. We had my son, daughter in law, 4 year old granddaughter and 17 month old grandson with us. The house is fully appointed and well stocked. It is a wonderful place to stay and enough room for extended family. The host was marvelous in communication and accommodating to our ever-changing timelines.

The house was way more than we expected. Everything was phenomenal! It met our expectations and more. The house was beautifully decorated and included all the luxuries you can imagine. The home owner went above and beyond to accommodate.

A Happy Traveler

We stayed at this beautiful house during a family reunion. It was a wonderful place to stay. The location is excellent, near shopping, near The Villages and highways. The house is beautiful and all beds were very comfortable. We enjoyed the very clean , screened in pool and patio and even used the grill. It's a. great neighborhood to walk or bike around. Denise was always responsive when we had a couple of questions. We plan on staying here next time we come to the area. Thanks for a perfect stay. A Happy Traveler.

Beautiful home away from home

We felt truly at home during our stay. Every little detail is thought out. We especially enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen, pool and the cute little relaxation nook off the living room. Thank you for the wonderful stay, we look forward to coming back again.

With the hustle and bustle within The Villages in the winter, this house outside The Villages allows you to step away, by minutes, to a more serene setting. Enjoy the amenities of The Villages with the exception of golf. Dance in Lake Sumter square, visit the restaurants and shops, enjoy the dining in the Country Clubs throughout The Villages.
We are off 466 where you have newer stores (Walmart, Publix, Home Goods, Bealls, Diners, Bonefish, Olive Garden, only to mentions a few.) There is a backroad to all of this where there is no traffic. Not to mentions a driving range.
