Week Stay
The inside is as expected from the pictures - beautiful and tidy. However, the outside had weeks of piled up trash that caused tons of flies that would inevitably come inside the house. Check in is set for 5pm which is already in my opinion late but when we showed up at 5, there were no instructions on how to get in and so I called the number. The person on the line was rude as if I should know that the lock box was on the propane tank and I didn't even have a code to it yet. Before entering the place, I asked on the phone if there was anything else I should know and the person rudely responded as if it was a stupid question. However, I walked in to no instructions on how they wanted things left, no wifi password, and the dishwasher was broken, smelling awful, the house poorly stocked for a week stay. Honestly, I would be fine with the lack of instructions, late check in, having to do the contacting for information etc if it weren't for the trashy exterior, the fear of the previous review coupled with the rude interaction that made me feel unwelcome and uncomfortable there. Pictures of the outside of the home should be added to this listing, there should be better instructions left, dish rags/dish soap/drying towels provided as well as other kitchen materials, and above all else, friendly interaction with the owner.

Exterior Dirty/Unkept, Dishonest Host, Bad Neighborhood
Exterior of home is unkept and dirty, electronic entry system doesn’t work, bad neighborhood. Interior of house was pleasant for the most part but beds were uncomfortable (my Aunt & Uncle had to stay somewhere else after 1st night). Two days after our departure, owner reached out directly to my cell and tried to pull a financial scam stating that we owed $ for damaged pillows and sheets that we absolutely hadn’t damaged. When he FINALLY sent pictures after repeatedly asking, it was obvious they were not pictures of damage from our stay and he refused to answer questions in trying to get to the truth. After we requested he only contact us through the VRBO appropriate channels, he proceeded to continue harassing us. I reached out to VRBO directly and they advised us we were handling the situation correctly and to NOT pay the Host directly. This is most likely a scam he pulls on guests after stays to get more $. Would never stay at another one of his properties and suggest future guests proceed with caution.

Rented Feb 1 to Mar 31 2023 Dishwasher not connected, many dishes not clean, no toaster, can opener, mixer, baking dishes, serving/mixing bowls or outdoor BBQ. Shag carpet was so dirty we rolled it up and stored in bedroom as there was no vacuum cleaner. Front porch screens dirty and torn really not a useable area. Had to call 2 times to get back yard mowed as it was knee high. Master suite good but no night stands, had to move in from other bedrooms. Quality of remodel suspicious as exposed wires and plumbing in utility rm. Dining table a 2 top with stools, not adequate for a 3 bedroom home. Close to shopping, churches, and some fast food. Cannot recommend.
