All New inside Cabin Near Cripple Creek & Colorado Springs

We have other homes other then this one. All Updated and very cozy and comfortable cottage retreat is surrounded by whispering pine and aspen. You’ll feel alone in the mountains–only one other cabin is even visible. It has a mountain decor with an updated interior. With views of Sentinel Peak and the back of Pikes Peak from windows and deck, you’re sure to enjoy your stay at Evergreen Cottage.

After a day of sightseeing or hiking, relax and stargaze from the expansive front deck. It’s quiet and private, but only a short distance to Woodland Park, Cripple Creek, or Colorado Springs. If you have a larger party, it’s walking distance to Horseshoe Lodge & Timber Ridge cabins, for larger family get-togethers. No Pets or Smoking.

Come visit us! Relax. Decompress. Hear your thoughts slow down in the stillness of the cool mountain air.

Sleeping: 2 private bedrooms. 1 with a unique Queen log bed; second bedroom sleeps four.

Bathroom: One full bath (shower and tub)

Heat: Portable, electric fireplace/heater.

Cell phone service can be spotty

OTHER FEATURES: Picnic Table. Great views from living room, dining areas and deck, Near Mueller State Park for hiking and cross-country skiing

Location: Approx: Seven miles south of Divide in Rainbow Valley, near Mueller State Park. Ten miles to Cripple Ck. Just 20 minutes to Woodland Park, with restaurants, fast food, a movie theater, hospital, and grocery stores (including a 24-hour Walmart). No Pets

The cabin and location were great, but we had no running water for showers or the toilet every morning. Won’t use Vrbo again

Great cabin Basecamp with a VIEW

This cabin was the perfect basecamp. If you are looking for a nice place to sleep and cook some meals for your adventures then this is the place. We especially enjoyed the views over morning coffee before the kids got up. Bring some drinking water and open the windows for cool mountain air and enjoy!

Loved it

Great place with a great view. Communication was easy and fast. Place was well stocked. Only complaint was that someone there before us must have enjoyed colorado's legal marijuana, smell was pretty strong and took about 3 days to air out. But overall we loved it.

Quiet getaway

If peace and quiet are what you're looking for this is the place. Nestled in the mountains about 15 min from town, this place is perfect for a peaceful and relaxing stay in the mountains. It's located about halfway between two towns with plenty of food places, groceries, and things to do. Tip: Do the gold mine tour in Victor! Great stay. Would highly recommend.

Home away from home

From the moment we got there it felt like home. A clean and peaceful environment was so welcoming when we arrived after a long day of driving. The cabin had all of the necessities we needed and some we forgot. We enjoyed coming back “home” every evening after our adventures. The property manager was wonderful to work with. Our only regret was the only wildlife we saw was a lizard, chipmunk, and a caterpillar 😊

Quiet and peaceful location

Cabin was smaller than expected but we were basically only there in the evenings and to sleep so not really an issue. Location is near many of the attractions we wanted to visit. It is quiet and peaceful and the chipmunks in the yard were fun to watch each morning.

Perfect place, perfect location!

The cabin was amazing we stayed a full week and it was all they told us and more. We would definitely recommend anyone to stay,it is secluded with not another house site. Everything was just as it was explained to us nothing to complain about well worth it!

Serene Stay

The cabin was located in a beautiful and serene location. As a result, our stay was a very relaxing experience. The inside of the cabin was very clean and we appreciated that very much. The cabin came equipped with everything we needed to cook our meals, shower and get a good night's rest. The only thing I would suggest is that the shower may need some Drano. Thank you.

Wonderful getaway

Beautiful cabin in the woods. Quiet, peaceful, relaxing place to come "home" to after a day of adventure. Pretty much everything you need is already there. It was easy to find and not too far from anything you could want to do. We would highly recommend it and definitely stay there again. Our only complaint would be that our stay wasn't long enough.

snowy week

wonderful week. snowed 15" first 24hrs of our week. changed our hiking plans. the cabin was warm and comfortable and we watched movies played games and enjoyed the view out the windows. it is very small and though it will sleep 5 it is great for couple to escape away to. it is in a great location just short distance from divide, victor/cripple creek, woodland park. the host is wonderful and communicated with us thoroughly. we were there may 19 to may 26 2022
