If you want a perfect spot for fly fishing and kayaking and the best advice on how to accomplish all of this. Joe is your man. It was a pleasure to meet him and we look forward to staying in touch.

This rustic cabin on the river with loads of privacy was the perfect peaceful retreat. Joe is a great host. Loved it!

Joe was an excellent host. The cabin itself is quite rustic so if you're not into nature and expect everything to be spotless, and/or need internet/cell service, then this place may not be for you. The location is AMAZING. We loved not having wifi or cell service; the peace, quiet and privacy was incredible; sitting by the river and letting our dog explore the property was wonderful. It was also a really good jumping off point for visiting Crowsnest Pass, Fernie and Waterton. Joe's stories were so interesting and staying on the ranch was a nice treat for us. Overall a good experience and we'll be back.

What a spot! I could sit by the river for the rest of my life Fantastic riverside cabin, quiet setting, wildlife abound. Truly a magical place.

Joe is amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Property is beautiful. Small appliances could use some upgrades and some cleaning to small items, ie fans is required. Lots of freedom for dog. Steps from river and fly fishing. Remember to bring baggies and foil etc as none on site.

We had an incredible time and lots of relaxation. Hiking Fishing or just hanging out watching the abundance of wildlife. Great place and highly recommend. Host is wonderful and going out of their way to insure you have a wonderful stay. We will be back. Thank you

Our stay was unforgettable. The cabin was cozy, the riverfront setting was peaceful, and the wildlife — especially the birds — made the whole experience feel enchanted. Joe is a very gracious and hospitable host - he was there to greet us upon arrival with a warm/welcoming tour of the cabin and property. We had a great stay, despite the "top-gun" skill set of mosquitos :). The river was extremely high due to record seasonal rains (which was a very good thing) so we had to seek alternative areas for fishing...which were very easy to find. The cabin has a ton of character. IF you're looking for the "Ritz", look elsewhere. If you're looking for a tranquil, off the grid, quiet spot with tons of wild life, privacy and character, you've found it! Joe will ensure you have everything you need and more. He's a local who's done it all in this part of Alberta and he'll point you in whatever direction you'd like to head. Enjoy.

Our stay was very enjoyable. It was relaxing and a great place to unplug..no internet at the cabin but at the main ranch house. 4 days well spent. Joe is an interesting man with many stories..thank you Joe!

This is an amazing place to get away from the hustle and bustle of the world on just enjoy beautiful scenery and a great location. Joe, the host, was incredibly engaged and responsive. Would stay here again.
