Great location. Some confusion at booking

Overall great experience. I had a moment of confusion when I received an email that a confirmed change was suddenly not available and was told I could upgrade for $50 a night. They were kind enough to make the change without the extra charge but it would have been better to offer that upfront. But the folks were courteous and helpful throughout the process otherwise.

Good location

Easy walk to restaurants and shopping. Kinda nostalgic room nice paint color and a soft bed. Small bathroom and the sink is in the main room not the bathroom. Seems overpriced in my opinion.

No control of heat/cooling in the room. "Surprise" bill from VRBO

Great location and friendly staff. Room was marginal regarding cleanliness. I was not aware of the additional charge by verb and therefore will avoid this type of booking in the future.
