Wow! The view! The dock! The fenced in property all the way around the house! The comfy large sectional! The comfy mattress! The floors….oh the floors! The little spoons for my yogurt! The dog door! The decor! This house is at the top of my list from now on! Totally sold on future Grandbury getaways! We hiked at Dinosaur Valley State Park. My husband golfed in Grandbury. I want to come back and rent some jet skis. If you fish- don’t forget your pole! This house is so cute, well kept, and right on the lake! Love love love! Solid 10 star all the way!

house was great, cozy & close to the water. Had everything we needed and the fenced yard was perfect to let the dogs roam and play. Nice and quiet neighborhood and conveniently close to HEB and town. This one will stay on our list of homes that we will return to when we travel with the pups.

What a wonderful vacation!!!!! This beautiful house was more than I expected! It was so clean and perfect for our getaway! Liz is a fantastic host! The lake view is incredible! We have stayed at other locations at Lake Grandbury and none have compared to this fabulous getaway! If you are looking for pet friendly, clean, and just everything perfect this is the place to stay! I want to give another shout out to Liz. She made my dog very happy! The yard is so huge and she had a great time! I want to stay there again next year!!! We all had so much fun!!!!

Nice place, great outdoor space. This is the second time we have stayed here.Very comfortable, quiet place to relax. Not far from town so easy access to grocery and restaurants.I expect that we will stay again in the future!

Such a great house! Super simple and cozy while offering absolutely superb views of the lake and sunset. We were grateful for the fully stocked pots and pans in the kitchen, which saved us some money versus going out to eat. The dock swing was a serious plus when we watched the sunset each night.

We enjoyed our stay at Dock Holiday. The house was very clean and was comfortable for our 3 guests and 1 dog. The kitchen was well stocked with pot, pans, dishes, etc. Our older dog also enjoyed the fenced yard and exploring the grounds. The boat dock was an added plus. We would definitely stay again.

The house is in a great location and very cute. We do suggest photos be updated to remove the photo that shows a boat lift because there isn’t one and the dock is in an exposed area of the lake so our boat took a bit of a beating. The negative issue we had is there was a mouse inside the house. We heard it in the living room and saw it in/on the trundle when we pulled the trundle out. The host offered to change the sheets and told us the owner had reached out to the pest company they use but we did not feel comfortable having our kids sleep in that area so we lost 2 beds and e we ended up buying an air mattress. This took it being able to sleep 6 to 4 which was disappointing. We did see mouse droppings near the couch and next to the trundle bed area.

Thank you for letting us stay in your home. The dock was lovely and easily accessible for my elderly parents. The home is quaint and well-kept, and we had a great time. The host was very accommodating with our pets, and communication was great! Thank you again!

The lakehouse was very homey. We had a great time! We do recommend pruning the front landscaping. It was difficult getting into the front door with the large bushes on either side, especially when we unloaded/loaded our cars. Please restock the salt and pepper. I brought small containers from home and left them. Some large spoons would also be helpful. We did tell the host about several things that were broken when we arrived (alarm clock in the guest room; the lamp on the sofa table would not work; the blinds on the left side in the living room are bent/broken, so we did not raise/lower them). But the view was AMAZING and we especially loved our time on the dock in the swing.Granbury is a beautiful town. Thank you for sharing this home with us!

Mom and Daughters Get Away

This is a great location and wonderful house which is comfortable, very clean and well appointed. The dock is so nice and I really enjoyed the swing that is there. It is located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood and has a beautiful view of the lake. The house is accessible for a walker which was important for my 83 yr old mom. I would highly recommend renting this property.

Lovely lake house with an Awesome view and dock. The house is one level along with the walkway leading to the dock which allowed my disabled husband to navigate all areas with ease. We spent an enjoyable week, with our Grandaughter (14) joining us for the weekend. Our first night a severe thunderstorm broke a huge tree limb 3 foot in diameter from the beautiful backyard tree. It barely missed the patio, however it blocked the entire view of lake from the house. Upon notification, the Owner came by & had a crew cut & remove it the next day. We appreciated that so much.Our little dog loved the fenced backyard.There is a parade of geese that swim past the dock every morning around 7AM. We counted 120 one morning. Great property, great host, great neighbors either side. We didn’t want to come home.

Floating via combining tubes.

Perfection and Relaxation

Just as pictured. We spent so much time just enjoying the dock and the swing. Our dog was in heaven with the completely fenced in yard, and enjoyed being on the dock.House was very clean. We would definitely stay again.

Perfect getaway

House was clean and had everything we needed. Yard and outside areas were very nice. Boat dock was huge and easy to get to. Loved fishing and caught a lot of fish! It is the best lake house we have ever rented. Thank you for sharing your lake house with us. I definitely would stay there again.

Short but Sweet

Lake get away

Property was even better than the pictures. Great Lake and sunset views. The perfect lake get away with a well stocked house. Easy check in and great communication and follow up with the property manager!

Kid/Pet Friendly and Good Fishing

This property has a large fenced in backyard making it perfect for pets and young children. Check in was super easy and the property manager did a great job communicating and answering any questions I had. We stayed for 3 nights and we caught enough catfish for a fish fry. We will definitely come back!

Just relax

A great setting for a sister gathering. This house addresses every detail you can imagine from a fully stocked kitchen--including a variety of kitchen appliances and all coffee supplies, strategically placed ceiling fans and lights, throw blankets for cool nights, comfortable beds, inviting couches, three TVs, and fun signs. House design is open and relaxing. The backyard and boat dock are exceptional with relaxing sunset views and plenty of wildlife to watch. The porch swing on the dock is a special touch.Highly recommend this rental.

Great Stay

We went the first week of March for a little R&R and fishing. The house is very welcoming and just what we needed. Caught 3 bass and 4 catfish around the boat dock. Nothing huge but still fun catching. A storm rolled in Friday night which dropped the temperature Saturday which limited our outdoor time nonetheless it was a great time. Definitely recommend.

Howdy y'all! I am a born and raised Texas girl who grew up stomping around Fort Worth and moved to the outskirts of Granbury in our home on the Brazos in 2020.
I married my high school sweetheart and together we have 2 girls. I love the outdoors. From kayaking the Brazos, to enjoying music festivals, to savoring BBQ on the porch with loved ones. I also enjoy antiquing and finding those unique finds, so anytime I can go to a trade day, I'll go. When I am with my family, we love our pizza/movie nights where we order a big 'ol NY style pizza and cuddle to some good hearted classics.

This home boasts beautiful views inside and out! It is nestled in a quiet neighborhood at the NE end of Granbury Square. The living area is spacious and open and has an oversized couch and 3 large picture windows that overlook the expansion of Lake Granbury. The owner has put extraordinary thought into this gorgeous home-from cozy linens on the bed, beach towels for guests, to a Fully Stocked Kitchen! The fenced yard is also large and well groomed. It has a stone sidewalk that winds down to the private boat dock, which is available for guest's use to keep your own boat or fish from.

The sunsets are breathtaking! There is a swing down at the dock where you can relax and soak in the peaceful surroundings. If you're feeling adventurous, you can jump right on in Lake Granbury from the dock as well.
For boat enthusiasts, there is a boat launch to use that is in the neighborhood and the property is located at the deep part of the lake, so no Canals!!
The lawn is also easy to get around in for those w mobility concerns and the yard is fully fenced for those traveling with their pups.
