Hidden Falls – A Romantic Hard-Wall Yurt Retreat

Designed for couples, Hidden Falls is a quiet, romantic escape tucked between two peaceful subdivisions and a nearby horse pasture. Here, the soundtrack is simple—birdsong, a rushing creek, and the occasional glimpse of deer or wild turkey passing through.

Inside, the space blends upscale rustic charm with clean, modern touches—polished concrete floors, warm textures, and thoughtful details throughout. The open layout feels both spacious and intimate, with a deep, plush sofa and built-in chaise perfect for unwinding after a day in the mountains. A wall-mounted TV with Wi-Fi makes cozy nights in just as inviting.

The fully equipped kitchen features granite countertops and stainless appliances, making it easy to prepare anything from morning coffee to a full meal. An intimate table for two invites slow dinners with a view.

The sleeping area is anchored by a luxurious Amish hand-crafted king-size Aspen log bed. A freestanding soaking tub offers a quiet place to relax, while the full bath includes a walk-in shower. A washer and dryer add everyday convenience.

Step outside to the oversized porch—ideal for morning coffee or evening wine, surrounded by the stillness of the woods. Grill dinner, dine al fresco, or gather around the fire pit under the stars. The private hot tub, thoughtfully positioned for seclusion, is the perfect place to end the day.

Located just minutes from the Deep Creek entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains and about five minutes from downtown Bryson City, you’re close to hiking, waterfalls, tubing, and local dining—while still feeling completely tucked away.

Hidden Falls is the perfect romantic mountain get a way. This unique yurt is only a 5 minute drive to Bryson City, but is the perfect level of seclusion and privacy. The interior is spotless, gorgeous and the porch is perfect for a cup of morning coffee while listening to the babbling brook below. After a long day of hiking, the hot tub was a much needed break. The Smokey Mountain National Park, with breathtaking views, is only a few minutes away. Also, check out the Elk with just a short drive to Cherokee. We can’t wait to come back!

Super clean and nicely decorated. Comfy bed. The hot tub was perfect! Loved how close we were to The Deep Creek section of the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. A very scenic area with lots to see and do.

Amazing location!

This was a great place to stay, kind of tucked away from activity and very cozy. Close to the Great Smoky Mountains so we could do day trips easily. Loved the privacy of the hot tub every evening! Everything was new and clean and very well appointed.

Great Get away

Awesome location. Close enough to get to everything ,but far enough to be peaceful and back to nature. The building was super nice. Plenty of room and very cozy. We loved the hot tub and large bath tub. We will highly recommend this place to our friends.

Amazing Stay!

Beautiful surroundings and immaculate Yurt. Everything we needed to relax and regenerate. Babbling creek was wonderful to hear as we sat on the deck. Close to town and shops. Fall color was vibrant. We will be back. Already recommended this VRBO to friends.

Best mountain getaway outside of Bryson City!

It was our first time staying in a yurt, so we didn’t know what to expect. We were amazed at how easy it was to get there. Plenty of room inside the yurt, and filled with everything you need to relax and enjoy the smoky mountains. We will definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing week at this jem tucked away in the woods. It was the perfect cozy environment to unwind and relax from busy day to day life. The downtown area was so cute and walkable and there were so many nice trails to hike. Would most definitely recommend and would love to travel back!

Hello, my name is Jeanetta and I’m thrilled that you’re considering our property for your next Western North Carolina vacation!

After 34 years in the vacation rental industry, I decided to sell and consolidate everything into the Elk Hollow community. near Bryson City, NC. I love that its location is so close to the entrance to Great Smoky Mountains National Park. It’s so quiet there, just a little piece of paradise waiting to be discovered. With tons of hardwood trees, a little stream, and wildlife like turkeys and deer, I could just soak it up forever.

There’s nothing more important to me than excellent customer service. I want all my guests to have a relaxing time and feel safe and comfortable. I really want them to find more to do than they have time for and have more fun than they expected!

As for me, I love gardening and all things outdoors.
I love spending time with my family. I hope that my two children and 6 grandchildren will all enjoy the mountains as much as I and their grandfather do.

It’s probably not a surprise that I enjoy traveling and experiencing new places. But I also love being home with my friends and family, and entertaining. It’s important to have a balance.

I hope to see you soon at Elk Hollow!

Located in the brand-new community of Elk Hollow, we are adjacent to the entrance of the Deep Creek Loop in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. After a peaceful hike, return to your romantic and fully equipped 16-sided hard-walled yurt with a sweeping ceiling and glass dome to enjoy a soak in the private hot tub overlooking the mountains.
