Newly renovated cottage on the lake!

I'm a lifelong resident of this area and happy to make suggestions for fun things to do during your stay. I run a local nonprofit mental health agency and I'm very connected to the Litchfield County community. It's a great place to live and visit!
While I'm new to VRBO, I have been a landlord for years and I'm committed to ensuring your stay is a great one!

Guests can use the entire house. Both bedrooms are nicely sized making the space very comfortable for individuals, couples, and families. The house provides everything you need for your stay, including a variety of board games and books. There's also complimentary coffee, tea, snacks and beverages.
Walk or bike around the lake after your morning coffee and then enjoy the rest of the day swimming, fishing or sunbathing. The lake is stocked with fish every year and the lack of gas engines allows for great fishing from the shore or boat. This is one of the cleanest lakes in CT and great for swimming.
Cook on the gas grill and enjoy sitting in the Adirondack chairs around the fire pit in the evening.
Off street parking available for 3 cars.

Guest can use the entire property and will also have access to three private beaches and the lake. The beaches are private and you will receive beach passes to access them. You can also use a kayak and canoe launched from the homeowner's property just down the road.
This is a very quiet neighborhood so please be mindful of noise during your stay. Guest must also abide by the Lake Association rules detailed here:

No parties or events. No smoking allowed on the property.
The lake association rules must be followed while using the three private beaches:
-Proper bathing attire must be worn.
-No animals permitted.
-No alcoholic beverages permitted.
-No smoking permitted.
-No glass containers or other glass products permitted.
-No motor vehicles.
-No boats on beaches or in swimming areas.
-No fishing while swimmers are present.
-Launching of boats from beaches is prohibited.
-Membership cards must be carried by members and/or guests.
-All beaches and the island close at sunset.
-No jumping or diving off of bridges or any other structure located on Association property.
