Nestled in the bluffs above scenic, Alma, Wisconsin, this beautiful cabin with loft overlooks a pond and acres of birch-lined woodlands.

Following a one-mile gravel road, you’ll round one final bend to this secluded cabin perched atop the hill. The interior features custom, knotty pine cabinets, ceilings and flooring and a kitchen with all essentials for cooking.

Sit out on the gorgeous concrete patio, fire up the grill, and enjoy the sunsets, as well as wildlife galore. A row of apple trees next to the pond, draw whitetail deer frequently.

Nearby (less than 3 miles), is Danzinger Vineyards. Only 5 miles from Alma, but you’ll feel completely at peace and secluded in this wonderful cabin.

Suncrest Gardens, a rural pizza farm is also only 5 miles away.

Unique rural taverns/ bar & grills in Cream and Praag are also nearby on scenic Hwy. 88. Or, go deeper into bluffs and visit Waumandee.

Winter recreation has a snowmobile trail that runs by the property. Spring turkey hunting is also an option.

Whether you’re looking for a weekend away from home to enjoy the natural beauty of bluffs and woods, or use this as your headquarters for the area attractions, you’ll love what this cabin has to offer.

Great stay for son's wedding in the area

Outstanding place for our family for the weekend of son's wedding. Cute, clean, cozy yet spacious, had everything we needed. We discussed coming back to stay just to explore the area. Secluded and well set in beautiful countryside.

Perfect rural cabin

This property was perfect for a quiet unwind with the family. We were in the area for a family reunion with events in the nearby towns and stumbled on this place perfectly fit between all the events. It was above expectations with a ton of living space, comfy sleeping arrangments, and a lovely porch for the end of the days events to relax and enjoy the sounds of the country. Throw in the great host - just a really positive stay.

Beautiful Location

We stayed for a fishing tournament. The accommodations were beautiful. Easy to get a hold of Perry. Great location to what we needed for the tournament. Would stay again.

Quiet weekend

We absolutely loved this place and hope to come back many more times in the future. Our only hiccup, and we've found this to be common at many places, it's that we would have loved it if they had blackout curtains.

So peaceful and relaxing!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time at Perry’s place. Exactly as described in the listing. Beds were comfortable and entire place was clean. Spent most of our time on the deck enjoying the quiet serenity. Our dog was a happy boy being able to run around and explore. We’re already planning our next trip.

Hidden in farm country, a private yard with a pond. No wi-fi and very poor cell coverage. It's a place to unplug and get away.

Buffalo County Cabin

Cabin was great for our family and for our pups who loved the deck and the open property. There is one bedroom/bath on the main level, one bedroom/bath on the lower level and an open loft with additional beds on the highest level. The deck is open on one side with no gate or railing; one of our pups can not be trusted off-leash yet so we would have brought a gate had we realized this.

Hidden treasure

The cabin was even more amazing than the pictures. It's a little out of town but in an excellent location. the kids survived without internet and we appreciated not having it. lol It was very spacious and comfortable and clean. There were so many little extras that were left for us that were very much appreciated! Thanks so much for sharing!!

Amazing little get away!

My family’s experience at this property was beyond one of the best memories we’ve made yet! My 2 dogs had a blast being able to run free and to be able to be a part of the family. My son also loved his own private pond! Perry was an excellent host and very easy to get a hold of and beyond kind! Thanks for the life long memories!

Very private and lots of space in the home

We had a girls weekend and there was 8 of us and we had plenty of room. The speakers throughout the house provided a fun dance party for us old ladies. The property was very clean and had everything we needed for an amazing weekend. Immediate communication from owner and the privacy of the property was just what we needed. Amazing sunsets from the HUGE porch was the best way to end a night.
