Your family will be close to everything when you stay at The Driftwood! Centrally-located w/hot tub, large deck. Just a quick 2 block walk from Seaside Beach + 1 block away from the Historic Promenade where you'll find, cafes, dining, shopping, bookstores, fun shops, bumper cars and video arcade.
Relax at the beach. The kitchen has all the pots/pans for your seafood culinary creativities. Living room -large smart TV w/streaming capabilities +sleeper couch. Pet friendly w/$100 fee.

We always love to hear from guests. We'll reach out to make sure you have found comfort in the home. We encourage guest to let us know when they have successfully checked in and checked out.
Great location for walking to the Prom for drinks, dinner, arcades and shopping. Rent bikes, walk the beach, walk the Historic Promenade.
Check out the painted rock beach, Seaside Aquarium, grab a book at a local bookstore and find a nook at the local coffee shop.
*This is an active neighborhood, you are close to it all.
Beach Access is a two block walk down Avenue A or a two block walk down Avenue E. Both streets T out at the Historic Seaside Promenade.
Broadway Street is a block and a half away, where you'll find shopping, cafes, restaurants, bars, Funland Entertainment Center, Pronto Pups, the famous Seaside Carousel & mall.
Access to the whole house, patio and back deck with private gated parking. Relax in the backyard hot tub or gather around the outside table and Adirondack chairs.

Lock up the hot tub when not in use and when checking out. Lock code will be sent to you in check in info email.
Hot tub maintenance is once a week, additional chemicals may need to be added if use is heavy. You can find brominating tablets, shock in the laundry room closet. Directions on how to use each chemical is on containers.
GAS fire table
City Ordinance Hours of use: 7am - 10pm
Our fire table takes propane. The coastal weather has taken its toll of our equipment and has made it hard to ignite. Guests are welcome to use, however since it's not in our listing as an amenity we will no longer reimburse for equipment failure or propane refills.
BBQ- Propane BBQ, Please use responsibly. Let use know if propane levels are running low. Please cover with BBQ cover when not in use.
GLASS RECYCLING- Guests are responsible to pack out any glass recycling they bring. Glass recycling can be found in town at the local Seaside Public Recycling Center on Avenue S.
Dog owners- $100 refundable pet fee - 2 dog Maximum. This is not a home with a yard/grass, nor is there a fully fenced off area. Be aware and mindful when booking. You will have to monitor your pet(s) when outside. Please pick up after your pet(s).
Children/Infants- We try our best to create a safe and welcoming home for children. We do NOT have locks on cabinets. Backyard is NOT fully fenced and there is no "yard" mostly patio, deck, gravel and parking area. However you may be lucky to find blueberries and/or boysenberries in our raised garden beds. You will find a supply children books, some toys and kites.
Games & Books- We have a growing supply of games, puzzles and books for those rainy days.
Poker chips, cards, shoots and ladder, sorry, trouble, to name a few. These are located in bedroom #2 closet.
Sleeper Couch- is located in the living room, 2 people can sleep comfortably on couch. Extra bedding is located in the coffee table/chest.

Hello, We're Steven, Heather & Sebastian. We welcome you to our home in Seaside, Oregon.
Steven traveled on a road trip from New Jersey and fell in love with what Central Oregon had to offer. He made Bend his home in 2000, you would have found him mountain biking, working in a brewery or enjoying a pint with a friend.
Heather, the Oregon native grew up in Corvallis and still roots for the Beavers. Heather grew up taking beach trips to Seaside with her family and has always wanted a beach home to share. She moved to Bend also in 2000, worked as a Chef at one of the local breweries and soon found Steven and the relationship blossomed. We bought our first house together in 2008, sold that house to buy our Bend house in 2014, The Ponderosa House. The Ponderosa (Bend, Or) and The Driftwood (Seaside, Or) are all in our short term rental fleet.
We got married in Mexico in 2012 and we now live in Portland with our son Sebastian.

This home is the perfect size and layout for families and friends. Large back patio for fires and hot tub. Spacious rooms and we remodeled the kitchen and bathrooms giving the home a more modern feel and look.
