Step into the charm of small town Floyd, Virginia with this beautifully remodeled 1885 historic home that blends timeless character with modern comfort. Thoughtfully updated while preserving its original soul, this home offers a welcoming retreat for families, friends, and even your four legged companions.

Set just a short walk from the heart of Floyd, you can leave the car behind and enjoy live music, dancing, local restaurants, art galleries, unique shops, and a beloved neighborhood coffee spot. When you are ready to explore beyond town, this home is perfectly positioned for day trips to scenic hiking trails, winding drives along the Blue Ridge Parkway, and nearby wineries and breweries.

Inside, there is room for everyone to spread out and relax.

Turn the thermostat to 65° in winter and 75° in the summer Rate your stay and make plans to join us again. Make sure the gas fireplace is off before going to be or leaving.
Please cover the grill and turn off the gas when done. Grill tools are in the kitchen. Do NOT burn the gas logs for more than 2 hours at one time.

Girls Music Weekend

A well-appointed older home with lovely antiques. Home was very clean and easy to locate. My friends and I had a wonderful time in Floyd staying in this beautifully restored house.

Floyd Retreat

Wonderful historic style home within walking distance to Downtown Floyd. We had a great time. Kitchen is modernized and fabulous. Back yard is great. Would stay again for sure. Be sure to look for the secret speakeasy when in town.

Great house, close to everything!

This is a really well renovated historic house in the heart of downtown Floyd walkable to everything. It was very clean and well kept. We will certainly stay here again. The only minor downside is being directly on a main road (221) means there is occasional street noise for the front facing bedrooms.

The Heart of Floyd!

This is a wonderful home with charm and functionality combined, along with a fantastic location on Main St Floyd :) We were within walking distance to a convenience store and a short walk to downtown, all via sidewalks! We enjoyed tge back yard with a fire pit, perfect for watching the fireflies at night. Highly recommend, a perfect stay. Thank you!

Fabulous Floyd

Perfect place for our large family to stay while in town for a nephew’s wedding. There was plenty of room in the house for adults and kids to spread out and relax. The fenced backyard was a great place for hanging out and enjoying the grill. The beds were comfy and everyone had lots of space in their own bedroom with their own tv to watch if they wanted. It was a short walk to our favorite restaurants and coffee shop. Highly recommend this rental.

Historic Charm

This spacious bedroom historic home has all the charm you could want and a killer kitchen that was so fun for mass gatherings and group cooking! The enclosed porch was the perfect place for toys and games. Now, for the best part. I have a lot of metal in my back was was concerned when I sat on what felt like a hard bed. Don’t judge too soon. All of us marveled about the comfort of the beds. When I get home, I’ll be buying a new mattress! Our host was readily available to answer questions or give us information. We will definitely book this property if we return to this area!

Perfect location and welcoming home!

We loved everything about this property! The home was clean, welcoming, and had every amenity anyone could need. The location was an A+….extremely walkable. The fenced in yard was perfect for our dogs. We will definitely book this home again!!

Fabulous Floyd!

We rented this beautiful 4 bdrm/2 bath historic home in downtown Floyd. The home was spacious with two dining areas, 2 living areas and hallelujah!, one bedroom was on the main level! All 4 bedrooms were roomy as were all the areas. The back yard was fenced with plenty of room for the grandchildren to play with our granddog. Everything we needed was there (paper products, laundry supplies, etc) plus things we didn't know we needed! The hammocks were well used, thanks for providing them! Great updates and all the appliances were new. The home was clean and perfect for our group of 4 adults and three children. The decor was eclectic, charming and fun. It's a short walk into town and we took advantage of most of the restaurants at least once, some 3 times! There's a variety of shopping areas and the music downtown was so much fun. Without a doubt we will return to this town and this rental. It's halfway between our home and our VA grandkids. It fit our needs perfectly and we didn't want to leave! We extended our stay with one extra day. Lindsey answered my text requesting the extra day immediately and the kids were so excited for the extra time. We highly recommend this lovely home in Downtown Floyd. VA.
