When was the last time you reconnected with your loved ones around an evening campfire on a beach after watching a beautiful sunset? Well stock up on the marshmallows and chocolate bars because this great property is just waiting for you! Imagine waking up and having that first cup of coffee sitting on the beach in your pajamas while watching a family of ducks as they swim by. Once the rest of the group is awake, spend your days lazing on the sand or jumping in to cool off on a hot summer day. How about a swim out to the raft to work on that tan? There is 150' of waterfront! There are 3 bedrooms plus a sleep sofa and 2 baths in the guest house and sleeping for 4 in the separate apartment. All of the guest house bedrooms plus the 3-season room have window A/C units. There is a window A/C unit in the living area of the apartment. Since the apartment is partially below-grade, it stays cool in the summer with just fans in the other rooms of the apartment. In the guest house, you’ll enjoy several conversation areas including a 3-season room with great lake views from which to enjoy your group gatherings. Relax with an evening beverage on the screen porch while reading a good book (or gossip magazine – we don’t judge) or chatting about the days adventures and plans for tomorrow. Do you like vacationing with others, yet need your own space? Then call dibs on the separate apartment, located in the lower level of the owner’s main house on the property (the apartment is just a short stroll across your private parking area from the guest house). The owner occupies the upper floors of the large main house on the property and his entry is from the driveway up by Redding Lane which is completely separate from the driveway for the two rental units. This creates a good sense of privacy from the property owner. The apartment offers a full kitchen; living area with a king bed; bedroom with a full over full bunk (250 pound weight limit for top bunk); a separate TV room and 3/4 bath (shower stall). Bring or rent your boat to get out on the lake for a day of water-skiing, tubing or just exploring- the dock will accommodate a boat up to 22 feet long (owner keeps his boat on the other side of the dock). The fireplace/indoor grill in the main rental house are off limits and can not be used. The owner only accesses the guest waterfront area to board his boat occasionally or maintain the property on Saturdays between guests. Owner has his own waterfront area adjacent to the property and separated from guest space with privacy landscaping. There is parking for 5 cars. Maximum of 10 people is strictly enforced at all times.
LINENS: Please note: Sheets and towels are not included with this rental. If you would like to rent sheets and/or bath towel packages from At The Lake Vacation Rentals, the cost of sheets (including arrival bed making) for this home is $175. Towel packages are $12 per person and include 2 bath towels, 1 hand towel and 1 washcloth. Please let us know at time of booking if you would like to rent sheets and bath towels as availability is limited.
