Perfect for families, this cozy retreat offers breathtaking sunrise and sunset views, making it the ideal place to relax and unwind. Enjoy a peaceful day fishing on the pier right off the yard or gather around the firepit, there are plenty of shoreline activities to experience without leaving this quiet neighborhood. If you feel adventurous, explore the multitude of nearby restaurants and shops just a few miles away. Whether you’re looking for excitement or an escape from reality, this oasis on the water offers the perfect balance of convenience and fun.

This property’s main floor offers two bedrooms, a full bathroom, a comfortable living space and an open kitchen, fully stocked with utensils and complete with a stunning view of the lake. Upstairs you will find an open concept loft over looking the main floor, which offers another living space, another full bath, additional sleeping arrangements and a workspace. Enjoy the cabin’s classic video games and assortment of board games for some fun!

We had a snafu with checkout timing, that was all our fault, and the owner was great at communicating and helping us resolve it. Home has a cabin feel and view is fantastic.

We had an amazing stay! The home was clean, comfortable, and had such a cozy, welcoming feeling that made us feel right at home. Communication with the host was excellent — very friendly, responsive, and accommodating throughout our stay. We especially appreciated the easy check-in process and thoughtful touches around the home.The location was perfect for our fishing trip, and we loved being able to fish right off the dock, which made the experience even more enjoyable for our family. One of our favorite parts was enjoying the beautiful sunrises and sunsets — absolutely stunning views that made the trip even more special. It truly felt like the perfect relaxing getaway, and we would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Relaxing Cabin on The Lake

Staying at this cabin exceeded our expectations. The location was perfect, the cabin cozy and clean, and our host “Josh” was fantastic - went above and beyond. Our stay was magnificent. We highly recommend staying here!

Outstanding accommodations with impeccable view, pristine cleanliness, and thoughtful amenities. My family had a wonderful relaxing vacation at this log cabin. The cabin is clean, comfy, and has all the amenities. Beautiful views of the lake. We enjoyed great fishing and the kayaks too. So much fun! Josh is a wonderful host. Friendly neighbors, and great location. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay! Cabin is very cozy and warm with everything you need to feel at home. The house was pretty clean, but lots of dog hair! It didn’t bother us much. Also not a great spot to go ice fishing. But we still had a great time! We would love to come back in the summer.

Beautiful lakeside property!

we had a wonderful stay! Everything was absolutely perfect. We had a relaxing time on the lake and some fun excursions into the towns around us. The property is awesome and Josh is a wonderful host! Highly recommend!

Another superb experience!

This was our second time staying in this wonderful cabin and it did not disappoint. Josh is very kind and professional, and made everything easy and seamless. The property is cozy, and nicely appointed, not to mention it's perfect location. Would highly recommend it!

Great family fishing trip!

Love staying at this log cabin home! The kitchen has a wonderful view of the lake and the loft is spacious and cozy to play games or watch a movie! We loved swimming off of the dock and catching some walleye by boat nearby! Josh was excellent and always responded quickly with questions!

We loved our stay at the lake. The cabin was exactly as described with amazing views, a beautiful dock and easy lake access. We enjoyed everything from fishing, to dining, to yard games. The cabin was quaint and relaxing, and Comfort Point is definitely a quiet area. Our family get-a-way was simple, relaxing and easy thanks to the cabin host supplying us with everything we needed.

Growing up, I always dreamed of owning a cabin up north—a place to fully enjoy the outdoors. While I didn’t often have the chance to travel there with my family, simply passing by log cabins made the Northwoods feel like home to me. After years of seeing them only as model homes, rentals, or places belonging to friends, I was fortunate enough to purchase this property in 2021, and it has truly been a blessing.

Now, I’m excited to share that dream with others and offer families a place to create lasting memories of their own. The time I’ve spent here with my family means more to me than anything, and I hope you’ll experience that same sense of connection.

My hope is that this cabin serves as a peaceful retreat for your favorite outdoor activities—whether it’s long, quiet walks, fishing from the dock or your boat, grilling meals together, kayaking through the bay, or gathering around the campfire under the stars.

The real cabin experience at the lake in a small and peaceful neighborhood. Not many cabins can be found on the lake in the area like this one. Built in 2012. Very peaceful from sunrise to sunset. Ability to access the lake within steps for any watersport activity, enjoy evening fires with friends and family, great dinning just miles away, and in town options 10-15 min away.

Ability to rent boats in town at multiple locations, and options at the local campground which is a half mile away.

The authentic full log cabin with great views, decor, fishing, and boating options. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets if you like to take walks, run, or bike. In addition, we have a variety of options for activities for our guest including fishing equipment, kayaks, games, and night fires. An overall great family vacation location.
