Don't miss your chance to book this incredible historic beach view home, originally built in 1859, boasting modern amenities and a to-die-for rooftop deck. The three-story home in East Chop features ocean views and abundant private outdoor space. Choose between beachcombing on the sand or admiring the water from home.

Enjoy alfresco meals at the outdoor dining table atop the house. The open kitchen is ideal for cooking as it's completely updated with gorgeous white cabinets, recessed lighting, a farmhouse sink, and high-end stainless steel appliances. The formal dining area provides an all-season option for hosting group dinners. Although the home has undergone renovations for your comfort, it retained its charm by keeping fun elements like the blue hardwood floors.

As evening approaches, make sure you don't miss the stunning display of the sunset over the ocean. For nighttime ambience, gather around the firepit on the roof or the one on the enclosed patio.

THINGS TO KNOW
This home is equipped with an outdoor shower.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

The house was very unkept. Nothing matched, the pictures were not anything like the reality. Bathrooms were not clean. One flat pillow per bed is unacceptable and the white towels had stains on them! Will not recommend this house.

Called three times about mice in the house . Never addressed the issue. Vacuum not working properly. Ice maker and water filter not working . Grill not cleaned .

Beautiful sunsets

A great home with a roof deck offering beautiful sunsets and a quick walk to several small beaches. The house was large and comfortable for our family vacation. It is equipped with most things you need to cook, relax and beach! We would definitely recommend it for family gatherings. Situated only a mile or so from Vineyard Haven and Oak Bluffs. We will be back for sure!

Nice house but

We had 8 adults and a baby and the house was a perfect size for us - could easily accommodate more. Nice features and location. Several of the key amenities were missing/not working. The roofdeck firepit did not work which was disappointing in the cool evenings. The 12 beach chairs advertised were not there, nor beach towels. 3 of the bathroom towel racks/rings could not hold a towel without falling off. Kitchen tools were spare and no wine glasses in a house on Martha's Vineyard! The roofdeck grill was dirty from use but we bought a grill brush and did it ourselves. Only way to communicate issues was through chatbot with limited results - we ended up getting beach towels, but nothing else was addressed while we were there.

A beautiful house

Very clean and quiet with comfortable rooms. We loved all the sun rooms and relaxing spaces. We had a group of five, and one of the rooms didn’t have a comforter on the bed; we moved an existing space heater in and turned up the downstairs heat, and it was fine. Otherwise, we were all very comfortable and loved the house.

We found the house very clean when we checked in. It was spacious and comfortable for our family. Ed the owner was most attentive to our needs. The roof top outdoor space was great for cookouts and watching the sunset over vineyard haven harbor

Older House with Modern Upgrades

I was very impressed with the upgrades at the house. All the bathrooms are updated. The kitchen was upgraded and excellent. The living area was very comfortable. I am not the biggest fan of older homes (the creaky stairs here in the front bothered me and the smallest bedroom was older) but the updates made up for the home being older. The location is fantastic as far as right on the water and close to more of the popular towns in the area. We enjoyed our stay! The house was clean inside throughout and the communication with the staff was great.

Beautiful house

The property is more beautiful than advertised. It felt like home. Very clean, very spacious, close to downtown Oak Bluffs. Will rent it again. Had everything except food and a chef 😇👍

Weekend in MV

beautiful house and location. Stunning rooftop that's perfect for outdoor meals. The heating and cooling though was a little wonky as the house was either really cold or hot and you didn't have the ability to adjust much. Kitchen could use a bit of upgrading as there is a lack of standard appliances and things e.g. scissors, knives, blender. For taller folks, careful of second floor as ceilings are low and doorways are head hazards.

Clean, convenient, but poor management!

The house is neat and clean! The location is convenient. Walking distance to beaches. However, the management is very poor. The check in was at 4pm. However, we didn’t get the door access code until almost 5pm. There was no instructions, no wifi password. The AC was broken. I contacted the management team. However, it still wasn’t fixed when we left. Plus, the AC repaired personnel came into the property without our permission or acknowledgment.
