Beautiful lakefront getaway! Stunning waterfront views and direct lakefront.

Large screen porch across the back of the house for enjoying the view with lounge area and dining table. Nice gentle sloping lot to the water that is great for the young and old. At the end of a slough with view down to big water makes for a nice swimming area and easy docking without boat traffic and wake. Steps into the water for easy swimming access and also a nice shallow beach area for the kids to play in the sand and water. Fire pit area and loungers at the dock. Plenty of room for parking. Bring your own boat and put in at boat ramp 5 minutes away and park your trailer at the house and boat at the dock. We also provide four adult kayaks and two kid kayaks and there are universal adult life vests but please bring correct size life vests for any kids.

There are two parking spots at the dock for your boat or a rental boat. Pontoon rentals at Harbor Pointe marina. 15 minutes by car and about 25 minutes by boat from the house.

Nearby Boat Ramps: Dare Park and Smith Mountain Landing

Only 2 minutes to the historic Smith Mountain Fire Tower and hiking trails. You can go up the restored tower for a beautiful view of the lake from the top.

Alabama Power Company that operates the lake lowers the water level by about 6ft each winter between Mid Oct - Mid March. During this time the water at the dock is too shallow to get a boat to the dock. The kayaks can still be used and the view enjoyed in the off season along with the local hiking trails.

*The pontoon boat is not for guest use. There are three exterior security cameras that view the front door, driveway, and boat house.
