The living room, dining room and kitchen are all open, which makes for a nice. The open room on the first floor makes for a nice common pace for people to hangout with each other. Out the back door is a patio area where you can enjoy the weather outside. I have a few short stays in these townhouse. This gives a large group the ability to rent more than one space very close to each other.

Destiny’s instructions,communication/response, time and recommendations couldn’t have been better! Very helpful and much appreciated. The townhome itself was beautiful however not everything functioned and it could’ve been cleaner. There were a few broken items I don’t feel like she was aware of, and she appreciated us, letting her know. We planned on grilling the second night, but there was no propane in the tank on the grill so we cooked inside instead. Pheasant feathers surrounding both doors coming into the home inside the garage and off the back patio had to be cleaned up so they would not be tracked in. The lighting in the kitchen was poor due to the fixture on the ceiling not working nor did the light above the stove. The two fixtures above the island worked fine however the actual stove/cooking area could’ve been better. The microwave door was coming apart on the bottom, half, it still functioned, just needs attention. TV stand had one broken leg and was balancing on an item, and we replaced a faulty extension cord below it. Ihope the items brought to her attention are addressed because it is a lovely home. It just needs kept up better. I feel like the cleaning/upkeep is hired out and possibly a gap in communication between the cleaning people and the host as far as issues or damaged items found between stays. (Again, this is just an opinion not fact) Thank you again Destiny for your help with everything and letting us stay in your home.

First time I rented from vrbo, exceeded my expectations. Communication with host was excellent, and the house was clean and beautiful. Really good set-up. Would certainly stay there again. Thanks Destiny!

We rated the experience as “okay” but it left much to be desired compared with all other VRBO properties we have rented in the past. The front door entrance was very dirty with cobwebs, dirt, dust and a cigarette butt as you entered the property. Once inside, the door to the microwave was broken and partially hanging on by one hinge and we could not use it. The water door dispenser on the refrigerator shot water out on to the floor, front of refrigerator etc. The sink in the master bathroom was also clogged upon arrival and drained very slowly over time when used. We sent a note to the owner and did not hear back until the morning we were checking out indicating they would look into these items (after we left). Finally, when we pulled our car into the garage we found that it had considerable dirt/dirt clods on the floor - and it clearly hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The back patio also had dead grass all over the cement from the mower and clumpy dead grass in the small lawn behind the unit. A poor experience overall and we were disappointed in the property and its overall condition.

Juniper Townhome in Mitchell

Our communication with Destiny was extremely good during this visit. She gave us some very good restaurant recommendations! The location is just off I-90 in a quiet neighborhood. We really enjoyed having a garage.While this property was originally nice, it is definitely in need of some TLC. The door of the microwave is obviously broken and NEEDS to be fixed immediately. The kitchen counter has edges that need to be fixed & not scotch taped. The ice maker in the fridge works fine and dispenses ice from the front very nicely, however if you use the water it shoots out all over the place. Lastly, the area in back of the townhome is nothing short of embarrassing...the "lawn" is just a bunch of tangled weeds, the patio chairs are old and weathered, and the community grills were a gross collection of unmentionable nastiness. Fortunately we had decided not to bring steaks to grill, but if you ARE planning to, maybe think again.All in all, this place was OK, but honestly if we stay in Mitchell again we'll probably try somewhere else.

Family reunion in Mitchell

Overall the property was fine for our purposes..it definitely needs some updating and repairs..the outside patio was nearly unusable, the furniture was very rusty and the grill was totally rusted out, and there was a bag of garbage on the patio ..the microwave door almost fell off when we first tried to open it, the cookware really needs replacing, didn’t feel comfortable using the pans because they were scratched and flaking..part of the kitchen counter was peeling off…the beds were fine, the bathrooms were ok, shower heads were quite rusted, needs updating…the host was very good and provided good info of the area and was prompt…the garage was very nice to be able to use and the area was good-very nice to be so close to the college. Plenty of parking..for the price, it was a good space for us to have our family gathering .

Excellent home away from home

Roomy, clean, and comfortable are the best words for this. We were there for an event at Dakota Wesleyan and we were able to walk to and from the house every day. It also was not a far drive to the Corn Palace. BONUS - It was about an hour to DeSmet if you are interested in Laura Ingalls Wilder things. We LOVED it!

Cute/Clean/Convenient

Convenient location and clean unit. Great tips on things to do in Mitchell. Comfortable beds. Patio furniture was not great and the TV remote was missing, but otherwise the unit was great and Destiny was very communicative.

PERFECT Stay for GRADUATION

Thank you so much for a perfect stay for our family during our celebration of our daughter's graduation from DWU. Everyone had a GREAT time during the after graduation party celebration and we were able to cook up food and enjoy the evening. Thank you again!!!

Great townhome

This townhome is great. Very clean, felt like my own home and in a nice/quiet neighborhood. The host was very communicative and check in/out was very easy. Would absolutely stay at this location again if I ever go back to Mitchell.

Hey, I am Destiny. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with friends, keeping house plants (I am always looking for fun new plants), gardening, and playing the piano. I am the Vice President of Mid Dakota Properties, which has approximately 350 rental properties in Mitchell and the surrounding area. I am a wedding photographer for Complete Weddings and Events and Brittanyography.

My husband and I have a farm with lots of fun animals. We have goats, chickens, 2 dogs, quail and guineas. They are so fun to care for and have around. We also get to enjoy fresh eggs and soon some goat milk!
