Spacious Condo in Schuss Village at Shanty Creek

This unique 3 bedroom 2 bath condo in Shanty Creek is truly a one of a kind property. Perched above the Pro Shop The Penthouse is in the heart of Schuss Village and all it has to offer.
Our 1500 sq ft of living space makes it one of the largest condos in Schuss Village. The wall of windows floods the unit with tons of natural light. Two private decks offer outdoor living space, a chance to grill out and amazing 360 degrees views of Schuss Mountain Golf Course and Schuss Mountain; pictures just cannot capture the beauty. The great location offers golfing right outside your door and downhill skiing just steps away. The Schuss Village indoor pool and hot tub is a short walk as well.

With three bedrooms the Penthouse560 is one of only a few properties with 3 bedrooms in Schuss Village. The Master bedroom and master bathroom are on the main level just off the main living area. The Master bedroom offers a king size bed with plenty of space. The second bedroom is also located just off the main living space and offers a king size bed. A (narrow) spiral staircase leads to the third loft bedroom which offers two additional queen beds. The kitchen is fully equipped to be able to cook and serve meals. Enjoy a meal at the dining table overlooking the 18th green.

Shanty Creek Resort offers 4 championship golf courses and 2 mountains with over 50 runs for downhill skiing. Our guests have access to multiple indoor and outdoor pools throughout the resort through the guest pass we include. Dining, shopping, and alpine tubing are all amenities that can be found in the resort. The free Shanty Creek shuttle will pick you up right outside your door and transport you to any of the villages and even downtown Bellaire to Shorts Brewing Company or shopping.

Located in the heart of Northern MI, The Penthouse is in close proximity to Traverse City, Mackinaw, Charlevoix and Petoskey which means 4 seasons of enjoyment.

Perfection away from home

This was our first time traveling to Michigan and it was perfect! The place was spacious for our family of 6 and located in a great location surrounded by nature. We enjoyed our stay at the property and everything exceeded our expectations!

Family Ski Trip

Great penthouse condo, steps from Shuss mountain. Can walk to the lift. Comfortable for six adults. High ceilings and lot of light made it feel spacious. Beds were comfortable with memory foam mattress toppers. In-condo washer and dryer for wet ski clothes was a bonus. Host was very responsive and checked in on us to make sure everything was going good. Perfect for a family ski weekend!!

Elsa’s Snow Castle and Family Memories

Upon arrival, our 3 year old niece who is obsessed with Frozen, jumped up and down with excitement because the spiral staircase and loft reminded her of Elsa’s ice castle. We were thrilled with the house and the time we got to spend together as a family there. The host was very communicative and helpful, the house was well equipped for us, and a great location for us. Can’t say enough about this place :)

Super Spot

Loved staying here. Bed were comfortable, kitchen had what we needed and view was gorgeous! Scott even had a Lit Christmas Tree for the holiday. PackNPlay crib provided. Enjoyed snowshoeing and my children liked skiing! I would recommend staying here!!

Perfect Fall Getaway!

We loved the Penthouse! It was a perfect fit for our family and my parents. My kids loved the loft area they had to themselves. The property had everything we needed. The beds were extremely comfortable! Note to future renters, the Schuus Mountain lodge and pool that this condo is closest to is closed in the fall. So we had to drive to the Shanty Creek lodge to swim. We didn't mind at all, but just a heads up. Thank you for a lovely weekend!

Quick weekend trip

We brought friends up to show them why we love the area, especially Torch Lake. Our condo was nice, a good space for our group. Our host was very responsive and the condo was as advertised. We did have trouble with figuring out the tv, but this wasn’t a big deal. Would recommend the space.

Great location!

We rented for our grandsons wedding nearby and couldn’t have been more pleased with our choice! Any questions we had prior as well as during our stay was promptly answered by Scott. We loved being able to sit on the balcony overlooking the 18th hole.

Beautiful view

It was the perfect location for our group while we stayed there - easy drive to Sleeping Bear Dunes, Traverse City, Torch Lake & Mackinac Island. A beautiful view of the 18th hole. We enjoyed watching the golfers come in. A great location for a golf trip and seeing other sites. The condo met our needs.

Family vacation

We were very happy with this property. Was thrilled to get there and have the family show up the next day . The guys golfed 2 times. We enjoyed sitting on the porch and watching the golfers come in . It was a nice location to go to traverse city , Mackinac torch lake . The kids even went canoeing . It was great having a washer and dryer . All the towels were nice to have . Thank you

The Penthouse is above the Golf Pro Shop. Extremely clean and well stocked. Quiet and peaceful at night. Beautiful location on the golf course. Can't wait to come back next year!

Beautiful area

The house was nice, beds comfortable, and pillows were great. We had an issue with showers draining but the owner took care of it as soon as we let him know. The owner was in contact regularly to make sure everything was ok. The only negatives I would give would be the shower heads not being great, the knives not being sharp, and the golf course cutting the grass at 6am. Once we closed the windows & turned on the AC though, we couldn't hear any noise from the outside. Loved having a washer & dryer in the unit, trails nearby, and multiple pools to choose from. Would recommend.

Golf Paradise

Great location. Golfed 3 days, visited Traverse City, Mission point (breweries and wineries), Charlevoix, Boyne City, Bellaire (Shorts Brewery) and others. Condo was clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend.
