This was our 3rd stay at this wonderful venue. We we bring 14 adults and 10 kids ranging from 1yo-9yo.and they all have a blast. From the indoor pool to the play room and acres of fun its just the best. Owners are always fantastic, so accomadating. We absolutely love thos house!!

Staying at "Jack's Place" for Thanksgiving week, was really fun. Our family of 5 adult children with their spouses and our grandchildren all stayed at Jack's, and we all enjoyed it! First off, the house is comfortably furnished, that made it easy to relax. There is plenty of living and recreation space/bedrooms/bathrooms and outside space that everyone was pleased. There is so much to do there. The trails through the wooded grounds were great, plus the mowed area provided space to play sports, plus the pingpong and air hockey, pool-table, pool and hot-tub all were perfect. The hosts were easy to contact and very helpful. I was able to cook and serve a large Thanksgiving meal, along with all the other meals. It was just perfect. The whole week. Highly recommend Jack's Place!!! Such fond memories were made. We all appreciated our time there.

The home and the 56 acres were absolutely Shangri-La. This was a perfect vacation in a beautifully furnished and well kept home on gorgeous grounds. In addition to the home and grounds every amenity was provided, including lifejackets. kayaks, paddle boat, golf cart, fishing rods, etc. the gym has a treadmill, an elliptical and a stepper. We loved the pool and ping-pong tables, and also the air hockey table. Our every need was attended to even down to boxes of tissues in every room. The hosts were beyond accommodating in every way.

The property was better than advertised. We had 3 generations of kids and grandkids under the age of 6 and there was never a dull moment, total of 17 warm bodies. The property was spotless upon our arrival. The attention to detail was above bar. The owners were amazing at answering any questions we had and refueling the golf cart (which was a crowd favorite) as everyone loved exploring the grounds. We have 3 professional chefs in the family and they all were very impressed with the kitchen and available appliances/tools of their trade. The fishing was also amazing as everyone that fished caught fish on a regular basis. The kayaks and paddle boat were used daily and often. Hot tub, pool and game room were well utilized. Kudos to creating a vacation home away from home that felt like home. HIGHLY highly recommend!!!

Everything about this house was perfect for our family, from beginning to end. The hosts were incredibly responsive, helpful, generous and friendly. The house and property were perfect for out 3-generation family vacation.The house has an amazing kitchen - we had every meal for the 13 of us at the house over the 9 days of our stay and it was never a problem in terms of space or kitchen tools or anything else. The indoor and outdoor activities (especially the fishing) captivated our 6 grandchildren (all under age 7). There really isn't a single suggestion I could offer about how to make this a better experience.

Ski trip

We had a great time at Jacks Place. Was convenient to two mountains. Plenty of bedrooms beds bathrooms for a group trip. House was very clean spacious. Kids had a blast with the game room! Todd was a pleasure to work with.

Great reunion house

The property was a great size and had all the amenities we needed for the group. The kitchen was also very well stocked and perfect for cooking for a large group. We only wish the pool was available in the winter but we would stay again.

Perfect spot for a big group getaway

We had the most wonderful time at Jack's place. Everything was clean and gorgeous and well-maintained. The lands were fantastic for our group of kid explorers. The kitchen was especially well-stocked. We can't wait to return!

Our favorite place

This was our second stay. We get together for our annual cousins trip and have done this at several properties looking for a permanent spot. We got so lucky last year when we rented Jack's Place. There is always something to do and its perfect for us. The owners are so caring and attentive and the property is clean and comfy. We can't wait until next year

Best weekend with my team

Jack's Place-the place to vacation

Jack's Place is exactly as promised, a beautiful retreat with lots to do. It easily accommodated our group of seventeen. The house is well appointed and comfortable. The kitchen had everything you could need. The pool and sauna were big hits with all different age groups, as were the pond, paddle boat and kyacks. The game room entertained both young and old, everyone couldn't get enough of the arcade!

Great for getting folks together

This is a wonderful property for getting folks together and not having to negotiate who is staying in what room together. The indoor pool and coverage from the decks meant I really didn't have to worry if we'd have to hang out in bad weather. A bunch to do both indoors and inside for all ages!

We didn’t want to leave!

This is the perfect spot for our family to meet and enjoy our time together. We hiked, we walked, we fished, we kayaked, we cooked and ate way too much food, we laughed and thoroughly enjoyed our time together. This is a great getaway for all ages! Todd and Nicole are wonderful to work with. 100% recommend. We will be back.

Perfect family / friend reunion spot!

We celebrated my mom’s 80th birthday at this property and it was perfect for all age ranges. There’s enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone to have their own space. The house was CLEAN, and the ease and comforts of the place made it enjoyable for all. Kitchen has enough for those of us who wanted to cook. We used the pool, hot tub, kayaks, paddle boat , golf cart, and of course — the amazing game room. It’s also a good jumping off spot for visits to Hudson, Rhinebeck, Olana, and more. Would highly recommend and we are already talking about going back.

A Great Family Vacation

This was the first time that we traveled to this part of the country, and it was a different geography for the group. This property is amazing.Large, clean, beautiful soroundings, it had everything we needed and more to make everyone fill comfortable from the little ones to the Grandparents. Then, the owners of the house are extremely attentive and receptive, a message was always followed by a print response and were helpful in solving the problem(which were most of the time minor). All and all a Great place for a Family Vacation,managed by Great Hosts.

Simply Amazing!

This home was spectacular! We had family from all over together to celebrate my mother's 80th birthday. House was immaculate upon arrival. Loads of space and amenities galore with something for everyone! From the game room, multiple fire pits, hot tub, indoor pool (saved our sanity since it was a rainy week), fishing pond, golf cart, in home gym and walking trails, no one could be bored! The beds were comfy, the towels luxurious, and kitchen extremely well stocked. With a group this big, we appreciated the 2 full sized fridges, and the wine fridge. The homeowners were very promptly responsive to questions. I highly recommend this home for your large group gatherings!
