Good Woods~Okemo~Killington~Dogs~HotTub~Fireplace

Take a step back in time in this quintessential New England cottage in a lake region between Okemo & Killington mountain ski areas. Escape the busy hustle and bustle and come and relax in this charming, restored rustic cottage with modern, unpretentious creature comforts. Perfect for 7-8 people. Soak in the hot tub and sit around a campfire. Take leisurely walks along wooded paths and backroads.

We've nicknamed this cottage "The Amazing Maze" because it was continuously added on from 1934-1960. This created a funky, quirky layout with plenty of nooks. It actually makes a lot of sense with the living spaces facing and open to the lake and the sleeping rooms in the back.

We absolutely loved this place. Close to Okemo, on the lake, and coziest bedrooms. There was room for everyone and the fireplace in the living room was so lovely and kept us warm.

Peaceful trip. Perfect cozy cottage in the most beautiful setting. Snowfall and a fireplace with a warm fire made for the most relaxing four days. Alecia was easy to communicate with and provided everything for a comfortable stay.

Fabulous stay

We absolutely loved this cottage. It was charming and so comfortable for 2 kids ages 9 and 12, their parents, and two grandparents. It had everything one could imagine and more. An array of spices for cooking, many different sizes and shapes of pans, plenty of dishes, a cozy ceramic wood stove to add heat and ambience in the evenings after skiing, and of course, the hot tub. So many thoughtful touches. We will be repeat customers if we return to the area and can nab this treasure of a place.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

Classic old New England lakeside cottage. We have been restoring this gem to keep its rustic charm and provide modern unpretentious creature comforts. They don't build them like this anymore. Unique cottage....no cookie-cutter trendy designs. Humble and true to its core. Quirks are included at no extra charge!

この宿泊施設の特徴

All you need are your own clothes and food. It's all set up so all you have to do is pick out your room, put your food away....and be off to enjoy! Compare our amenities, location, and privacy to other rentals and local inns; we think you will find this a great deal!
