My wife and I rented Carissa’s place for a month… and it was perfect. We worked remotely during the week (WiFi was fabulous) and did touristy stuff on weekends.April in Scottsdale is lovely - mid-80s and higher (but zero humidity), blue skies, flowers are in bloom, hummingbirds abound, cacti, palm trees. It is my idea of paradise.Carissa’s place was modern, roomy and clean. Beds were comfy; kitchen had everything needed for a long stay. We were repeat visitors to the community - drawn back by amenities (five pools and six hot tubs scattered over a small area, including one 40’ish steps from our front door; a bunch of tennis and pickleball courts) and the safety and security of being in a gated community in a very nice area of the city.Carissa offered up restaurant and activity suggestions, and was quick to respond to any queries my wife and I had. Aside from Scottsdale being beautiful from a climate and flora/fauna point of view, outdoor activites are aplenty - hiking (for all levels of hikers), challenging golf courses, pro sports, concerts. And also within reach of Sedona (2 hour drive), Grand Canyon, Horeshoe Bend, Antelope Canyon (all about 4 hours away) if you want to cross some items off your bucket list.We will definitely return to Scottsdale again in a few years and won’t hesitate for a second to rent Carissa’s place again.
