Welcome to Wake and Lake - your home away from home on beautiful Lake Norman! This beautiful 5 bedroom, 3 level home has just over 4000 square feet to enjoy and make your own! As you walk through the front door, you'll immediately enjoy the long range views of Lake Norman - the lakeside covered deck is just a perfect place to grab a cup of coffee and take in the views!

Designed to entertain on the main level you'll find the kitchen, dining room, breakfast area, family room and primary bedroom with a huge bathroom. Rainy day or just ready to play family games? Two amazing options! Head out to the garage where you'll find stand-up classic arcade, ping pong, shuffle board and air hockey.....or head to the lower level to play cards, family games or the awesome wall-mounted Connect Four! The upper level includes 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms and on the lower level you'll find the 5th King Size bedroom with full bath. Fireplace, lakeside firepit with polywood chairs, propane based grill, corn hole boards, covered seating area and a total of 5 SMART TV's - all of the amenities you would expect in this high end vacation property!

Lake time? Grab one of the 4 on property kayaks (2 adult, 2 kids) or 2 paddleboards and easily launch yourself onto Lake Norman via our private boat ramp - perfect for dropping in your personal boat and jet ski as well! For the adventurous type, you'll love the diving board to jump in and swim in the lake!

Ideal location as you'll enjoy the peace and quiet of the residential area while the convenience of being 15 minutes away from grocery stores (Publix, Harris Teeter) and multiple breweries, restaurants and shopping options!

Our family has a tradition, Labor Day at the Lake, and we have gone to Lake Norman the last 3 years. This is our favorite house so far. The house was lovely inside, had plenty of space for everyone. The layout, with bedrooms on all 3 levels of the house, made it nice for our 3 families.We loved the dock with the diving board and tower to jump from and we really liked having the launch area so we could drop in our jet skis from the property. We also loved the fire pit. We made S'mores every night of our stay. The game room was a huge hit with everyone as well. The kids loved it but so did the adults! Such a fabulous property!!

Absolutely wonderful stay! There were 12 of us, 6 adults and 6 grandchildren. The house had everything and was extremely clean. Lots of space to spread out. We rented a pontoon boat for 3 of the days, so lots of time on the water. It was a quiet area and not a lot of boat traffic. Highly recommend and would not hesitate to return.

Great Family Vacation Spot

We were down there for our grandson graduation. It turned out to be a family trip for my grandchildren nine in total all ranging from 6 months to the graduate who was 18. The house was perfect, very spacious, clean and perfect for them to swim. I would fully recommend this property it was perfect for the little ones. Some of the kids fished as well they had so much fun. I told my husband this is my dream home for family gatherings. If we were to relocate this would be the home we would mimic. It was perfect in size and what we needed and I am used to. So thank you for such a wonderful time in this beautiful home. We will be returning soon; thank you.

Immaculate

Absolutely beautiful home. Spotless!! All necessities were provided. You can see the lake from all the bedrooms, kitchen and living room. Nice screened in area outside the kitchen with nice table and chairs to dine in fresh air with no bugs. Furniture/beds were all top of the line and super comfy. So many options for places to relax. We had so much fun by the fire pit and boat dock and on the kayaks and paddle boards! Highly recommended!!.

Serene oasis

This home is beautifully situated on a quiet and peaceful Cove of Lake Norman. Clean and spacious for a large family. The dock has a diving board which everybody took advantage, a great place to paddleboard, kayak or swim without getting in main stream traffic of the boats. My family took wake surf lessons too. Everyone had a great time, there at are so many things to do on that great big beautiful lake. We loved electronic concierge, it made the check-in and checkout process easy. Thanks again for a great stay!

Great property on the Lake

We had the pleasure to stay in the Wake and Lake house the last week. It was everything advertised. The house was super nice and the lake view was amazing. The team that manages the house are also great. Anything that we needed they were there. I highly recommend this property.

Wonderful stay

Despite the storm front that hit us over Memorial Day weekend, we still had a blast in this very large and beautiful home. Drew was more than accommodating. He hooked us up with a boat late notice and even delivered it early due to the weekend weather conditions. Great host! The virtual concierge was awesome, and check in was flawless. The house was incredible and situated perfectly on the lake. I can’t say enough good things about it. The weather did put a damper on the activities we had planned. We couldn’t have asked for a better house tho for those rainy days! The amenities were perfect. We will definitely visit again hopefully with nicer weather!

Great rental with everything you need

A beautiful property with an amazing dock and all the games you can play. Lots of sleeping spaces and room to hang out. Very much recommend and would definitely go back.

Great house, location and host!

We have rented homes through VRBO throughout the US and in several countries. This property and host rank at the very top of the list. The property is very well maintained and had everything we could think of for a great stay. Our family group - which included older adults, teens and children - was treated to private and communal space galore, multiple cozy talking areas, a game room that we had to pull both adults and kiddos away from, and a super well-equipped kitchen. Although we had anticipated cooler weather, we were still able to be outside on decks (including one glassed-in) and the dock. Teens took the paddle boards and kayaks out and had careful (dry!) journeys on the lake. The automated concierge system was very easy to use and provided a wealth of information on check-in, during our stay, and at check out. The host was easy to contact and responsive to our questions. The only possible improvement would have been if it was summer - rather than late November- so that we could have spent more time outside and in the water. We highly recommend.

Perfect End to Summer

After my 2000 mile drive home I would love to turn back and spend another long weekend at this beautiful Home. Drew is an amazing host and hasn’t left anything out at this Home. From ages 4 to 82 there was nothing we wanted ! Games , lake toys, morning and evening views from the deck……Memories!

Wonderful house and location!!

Everyone just loved our long weekend at Wake and Lake! The house is enormous, very well-appointed, and super comfortable. We have several cooks amongst us and all we’re extremely pleased with the kitchen set-up. Thank you for the terrific service by the property manager, too! We would love to return for a longer stay.

Best Vacation Ever!!

This house is truly a gem. The manager was so easy to contact and made sure we were enjoying our stay. The house is so clean!!!! It’s nestled in a quiet neighborhood with nice neighbors. The front porch is the best place to enjoy a morning coffee. We especially loved the kayaks and paddle boards that were included with the house. Another fantastic thing about this house and location is that you have a nice, calm inlet that is less than a 2 min boat ride to perfect deep water for water sports. We cannot wait to come back next year! You will not be disappointed at “Wake and Lake!”

Wonderful lakehouse!

We had a fantastic time during our stay at Wake and Lake! The house was perfect for our family and our children's friends! The dock and depth of water are ideal for swimming and paddle boarding, and the views are fantastic! Communication with the property manager was easy and prompt. The location is also a positive, with plenty of open water for tubing and skiing. We will definitly book again!

BEST VACATION EVER!

We had an amazing family vacation at Wake and Lake and are already planing our next visit! Our group consisted of 5 adults and 6 kids and there was plenty of room for everyone! The house and property are stunning, super clean, and well stocked. The property managers were super friendly and easy to get in touch with. We brought our boat, rented a jet ski, and played on the diving board, kayaks and SUPs all day every day. We couldn't get the kids out of the water. The two stocked game rooms were an awesome addition to the property. There certainly wasn't time for anyone to get bored. The location on the lake is perfect! The open water in front of the house was big enough to tube and water ski and wasn't crowded with other boaters. Whether you're looking to play hard all day or just relax and enjoy the view, this house is for you! Don't delay, book your stay!
