We only stayed on night but the room was fine with a comfortable bed. It’s located right in town and Lubec is a charming little town.

I give this place high marks for location, comfort, and cleanliness. We would stay at Eastern Beacon again. Patrick, the Inn Keeper, laid out an array of breakfast goodies and hot coffee every morning for us early risers. Self-checkin went smoothly and Patrick, without being obtrusive, was a quiet, welcoming presence.
The weekly, celtic jam happening at the Lubec Brewey, a couple doors down from the Inn.
We hiked a few of the well maintained trails available just a short drive from the Inn. This one ran along the beaches and headlands between Racoon Beach and Liberty Point, Roosevelt-Campobello International Park.

Wonderful three-night stay at this very nice property. Great location along Lubec’s Water Street, making everything in town within easy walking distance. The room was immaculately clean and had all the comforts I needed. Everything is self-serve, including a modest but adequate continental breakfast each morning, set up in the entrance foyer. Patrick is a terrific host who went out of his way to ensure a comfortable stay. Highly recommended for a stay in Lubec.

Charming Inn

It was a very quick trip, but we enjoyed our time there. I wish we could have stayed longer. The room is perfect and the town is lovely.

Great place to stay in Lubec! Patrick made it very clear how to get into the room, where to park, etc. Super easy to walk around Lubec from Eastern Beacon Inn. Have to visit Roosevel5 Campobello Park and Island!

The room was comfortable and clean. There were grab and go breakfast options available and coffee was ready for us. This was a great location for us to stay when visiting Quoddy State Park.

Easy, contactless check in. Room was beautiful and clean. Continental/self serve breakfast in foyer with coffee, water and juice available. I would recommend this property highly.

Very clean and newly remodeled. The owner was great (especially when our dog locked my husband out of the room 😂) Great view. Everyone in town was really friendly.

Location, location

The Eastern Beacon Inn is perfectly located to explore Lubec by foot and auto. The view across the bay is extraordinary as is the view of and access to Campobello Island over the international bridge. (Bring your passports!). There is a little garden bench across from the Inn where we enjoyed a morning sit. We found a nice selection of little shops and places to eat. Coffee, freshly baked muffins and croissants, and friendly conversation can be found three buildings down the street at the Narrow Escape where dogs are welcomed. Or you can make your own breakfast in the Inn’s amply stocked pantry with coffee, tea, bagels, and bananas. The beds and linens are super comfy, everything was very clean. It was nice to be able to open the windows and enjoy the sea air. We enjoyed our stay and Patrick is a very responsive host.

Skid proof mat and bar handles for bath and shower are needed as we felt a bit insecure. Also, cups/glasses could be available. TV service was minimal but we didn't stay to watch TV, though a local channel for news could have been nice. On the other hand, the room was lovely and spacious; mattress was super bringing about a fine night's sleep.

Great stay!

Very clean, nicely decorated, and spacious room. We loved the all pinewood interior giving us a cabin feel, but with all the modern conveniences. Large TV, plenty of hot water and a small help yourself coffee and bagels type breakfast nook. Everything looked pretty new, and location was perfect, right by the Campobello bridge. Plenty of parking in back. There is even a small patio area for relaxing. Perfect place for us!

Bright, clean and comfortable

We had a great stay! Our room was extremely clean, check in was easy and host was helpful and available if needed. The communal drink and snack bar was a great touch and was well stocked. Rooms were quiet and had lots of windows to open and get a nice ocean breeze. We will be back!
