Welcome to High Country Cabin! This quaint studio cabin with sleeping loft sits just off the beaten path in the Blue Ridge Mountains only 2.5 miles from Lake Nottely.

The 2.8 acre property offers a hiking trail that leads down the valley to a running creek. Enjoy the peace and quiet of the completely wooded area from the fire pit or the front porch rocking chairs.

Perfect for a couple’s getaway or travelers seeking nature’s tranquility. The cabin is conveniently located a short driving distance to Blue Ridge (13 miles), Blairsville (15 miles), McCaysville (21 miles) and Murphy, NC (17 miles). Enjoy outdoor activities such as fishing, hiking, kayaking, and rafting, as well as local orchards, wineries, & breweries.

The cabin has a fully working kitchen with a gas stove/oven, refrigerator, microwave, and Keurig. It also comes with Wifi, mini split heating and air, a TV/Roku for streaming your favorite networks, and a nice selection of books and board games.

Just what we needed! A quiet getaway to recharge for the night. We love going to the Casino in Murphy. This rental was in close proximity and allowed us to enjoy our time at the casino with a short ride “home”. If you’re looking for an intimate, quiet getaway, this is the place!

"A very neat and cozy cabin in the woods. It has everything you need to have a great stay. Everything works perfectly, and there’s always hot water. We enjoyed our stay. It is an older unit so some older amenities, specifically the stove/oven gave us some trouble. Also, the bed is not the most comfortable for large adults. Otherwise the unit was just what we needed and having firewood available motivated us to do a fire one night which was very nice! Affordable and cozy, minutes to Blairesville, mostly private, just what we needed for a weekend getaway!

The description led us to believe the bed was in a separate room rather than all in one big room.The mattress was so poor that my husband rolled of the edge while sound asleep and banged his head with a swollen bruise on his forehead and slightly blackened eyes.Nevertheless we enjoyed our time there.
