Entire house with private entrance. Single level- no indoor stairs. 2 bedrooms/ 2 full baths, 1 sleeper sofa in living room. Free washer/ dryer in house. Big Beautiful front porch! Guests loves to spend their time on the porch- there is a swing, rocking chairs and 6 person table. Many gathering places indoor and out. Gas fireplace and 2 smart tv's. Spacious kitchen with an eat at island. You are 5 minutes away from Boone but the location offers a serene mountain escape!

Our stay at this cabin in Boone, North Carolina was absolutely amazing. The cabin was beautiful, comfortable, and incredibly clean—everything you could possibly want for a relaxing getaway. Shane and Christine were outstanding hosts: welcoming, responsive, and genuinely kind. The cabin was truly above and beyond our expectations; pictures don’t do justice to how stunning it is or how perfect the location is. The views, the setting, and the overall atmosphere made this stay unforgettable. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to come back again!

This is our 4th or 5th time staying here. The home is always immaculate and the Christmas decorations were the cherry on top. The host is very responsive.

This house was an absolutely perfect home away from home! We loved everything about it! Most beautiful granite countertops I have ever seen throughout the house! Magnificent stone fireplace! Beds were as comfortable as the Temper pedic ones we have at home! We met the owner, Christine, when we arrived, and even got to meet her sweet baby boy! Fresh locally baked bread and apple jam greeted us in a basket on the kitchen island! The kitchen was well stocked. Two coffee pots!—one was a Keurig, and one was a regular drip coffee maker. Fresh towels and delicious chocolates were placed on the beds. The entire house was spotlessly clean! Location was close to everything Boone and Blowing Rock had to offer. Honestly, it just doesn’t get any better than this! Communication with Christine was excellent too!

We had a wonderful stay at this property! It was super clean, with very comfortable beds and a fully stocked kitchen. A lovely surprise was finding a fresh loaf of bread and jam waiting for us when we arrived. The large, cozy front porch quickly became our favorite spot to relax, even during the rain. The location is ideal—less than 10 minutes to downtown Boone and App State—yet tucked away in a quiet area up the mountain. The driveway was easy to manage (no steep climb), and the spacious, flat parking area was a big plus. Overall, this was a fantastic property for our family, and we’d love to return.

We have stayed in several properties in Boone and this was the best experience we had. Everything with this property was outstanding. During our stay we had an event that changed the purpose of our visit and Christine was gracious enough to allow us to extend our stay for extra days. This was very helpful to us as we were experiencing a lot of stress and not having to worry about finding another place to stay was definitely helpful to us.

Best Vacation, EVER!

Shane and Christine are outstanding hosts. From our first contact online, to our arrival and throughout our stay; both of them are so hospitable and accommodating. We felt welcome and comfortable. The house and the property are well maintained and immaculate. The house was nicely furnished and comfortable. The porch was an unexpected and outstanding feature. Regardless of the weather or time of day, we could use it and be comfortable on it. It was great for us and our pup; the same goes for the beautiful lawn and walkable driveway. The location is excellent; relaxing and quite, but only minutes to town or the highways to surrounding towns and attractions. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, from arrival to departure.

Perfect Mountain Getaway

This is our 3rd time staying here and it gets better every time. The home is immaculate and has everything you need for a perfect getaway. Close to downtown Boone and area attractions. Quiet neighborhood with an amazing front porch for morning coffee and evening family gatherings. Great communication with the host. Can’t wait to visit again!!

Great location

We stayed here for our daughter’s graduation. It was perfectly located and peaceful! The house was very clean and well appointed. The owner has spent time on small details. There is a retractable gate on the front deck if you have pets/small children. There is a storage shed outside for gear. There is a two car garage, but it is locked.

Great Tweetsie Launch Spot

We very much enjoyed our stay - great place (we hung out on the beautiful front porch a lot) and close to Tweetsie which was on our to-do with the little ones. Had a little issue with the hot water but Christine got a plumber over to the property the same day and the issue was taken care of. Highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful - 5 Stars!!

The house is absolutely beautiful!! Newly renovated and incredibly clean! Everything is thoughtfully laid out and very welcoming from the minute we walked in the door.Very large- fully equipped kitchen- beautiful bathrooms - comfy beds- and the front porch is awesome! It even has a dog gate so your furry friends can hang out and still be safe. The host was very responsive and very sweet. The location couldn’t be any better . You are very close to town -maybe a 7 minute drive and the neighborhood is very nice ! If I could give it more than five stars, I would - I highly recommend it and it’s for sure going to be our go to spot whenever we go back to Boone!

Great property & location

We had a great stay at this property over Christmas. The location is very convenient to both downtown Boone and surrounding areas. There is a grocery store less than 5 minutes down the road. It has a really nice porch, though it was a bit too cold for us to enjoy on this visit. No complaints at all about our stay. We'll definitely consider staying here next time we're in the area.

Wonderful stay at beautiful home

We stayed here for an ASU football game. The property was well maintained, clean and accommodating. There was even locally made jam and fresh bread waiting for us upon arrival. We will definitely be staying here for future visits to Boone!

Best find in Boone

We have stayed at many VRBOs over the years, but this home was the best. The interior was spotless and the house was remodeled to perfection. We had everything we needed. The owner also provided a fresh loaf of bread and apple butter. Quiet neighborhood too.

Great house and porch!

Sitting on the beautiful wide, long, covered porch was so relaxing and comfortable morning, afternoon, and evening. The location is so nice - set back far from the road, with no neighboring houses. The house structure and decor was outstanding, and Christine was so sweet and wonderful to work with. What a great getaway!!

Everything about this property is excellent and as stated in listing. Christine was very helpful and kind. Truly appreciated the local fresh bread and jam. Our dogs loved the big grassy front yard to play in.

This property is perfect for so many reasons! It is spacious with lots of areas to hang out, huge front yard (rare for the mountains), and minutes to town. 5 minutes to middle of Boone. Close to Appalachain, Beech and Sugar ski slopes and Hawksnest tubing. Sit on the porch and hear the birds chirping and jump in the car and be in the center of everything within minutes. It's the best of both worlds!
