This 1926 Cabin was built in 1926 by the Mason's and was owned and lived in by the president of this society. The Cabin has been newly remodeled inside, and we are very excited about the improvements. The first bedroom has a queen bed and you can see the beautiful stone fire place from bed if you want to leave the door open. The second bedroom has a bunk bed (top bunk twin and bottom bunk is a queen) this room is down the hall on the opposite side of the home, giving some privacy between the two rooms. This second bedroom step down (4 stairs) into a den like atmosphere, where the entire room from floor to ceiling have been completely redone. Living room has a large natural stone fireplace, (bring some firewood). This cabin is located approximately 1/2 a mile from the village and the lake. The Alpine slide (roller coaster, zipline and more) is just across the blvd and the Big Bear Brewery and Azteca Mexican Food restaurant are a quick walk away. There is also a small market about 1/3 mile away. Perfect location and a real cabin to enjoy. This is a large property, over 11,000 square feet. This property is fenced, and is just one lot space away from Big Bear Blvd.
Just as nice as the pictures and more peaceful and relaxing then you will believe! Super cozy, quiet, walk to Lakewood Market, walk to The Village and the lake. Comfy beds, quality decor, cooking and kitchen all nicely appointed. We LOVED our stay, referring friends and would LOVE to return, highly recommend and enjoy! On top of that, we scored on the first snow of the season and had to extend our stay because of the storm! Thank you Brett, Erik the Artist and family.
