Reserve this New Surfs Up! "Homes By Christopher" from our Lake Michigan Collection. It has been totally refurbished and stocked with great amenities. It is only a few minutes walk from Racine's Famous North Beach. With 5 bedrooms and 2 baths, spacious living room, fully appointed kitchen, and formal dining room, this beautiful home comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests. All of our bedrooms are equipped with double plush queen beds cool gel pillows and crisp linens for an Ultimate Sleep Experience!

Great Experience

This was our first experience staying in Wisconsin. We usually go to somewhere like Myrtle Beach for summer vacation but decided to try Lake Michigan instead. I would definitely return. There is so much to do within a decent driving distance. This house was great for our 2 family trip. We had kids from 3-17 and we were able to keep everyone comfortable and entertained. The kitchen was very well stocked compared to other places we have stayed. Check out requirements were so simple. Some people require so much on check out and Christopher makes the end of vacation not seem like a job. Thanks again for a great stay!

Racine Family Getaway

We had a GREAT time. The house was clean and the pictures on the website were not misleading. It was so nice to find a house with NO bunk beds — they were all queen size beds!! The host was responsive when I texted with a question. There were 10 of us staying at the house.

What a lovely, clean town. All the houses were well kept and had lovely flowers. The house we stayed in was located across from Lake Michigan and very nicely arranged. I would highly recommend staying there. And the weather is beautiful!!!

Wonderful time in Racine

We enjoyed our stay in Racine! Perfect amount of space for everyone to have own rooms and spread out. Spacious home. We appreciated all the extra touches - laundry with detergent, hair dryers, clocks in the bedrooms. They even leave snacks, water, wine and the yummy Danish Kringle! There were beach towels to use and camp chairs- all the things you need when at the beach although do not bring when flying to another state. The house is in walking distance of North beach. Our favorite in Racine was the Wind Point Lighthouse- definitely worth checking out. Overall a great time and would recommend this vrbo!

Not ready for us

When we arrived, house had not been cleaned/prepared. Beds un,are, no clean sheets, crumbs all over table/counters, dirty containers found in shelves. Scrambling staff showed up and did a remarkable recovery job, but some dirty containers still found. Just glad we arrived early and not in the evening.

Location, location, location

Excellent location for family trip. It was across the street from beach/playground and only a 0.8 mile walk to the zoo. The zoo wasn’t the greatest-several exhibits were closed but it was fine for hanging out for a few hours with the kids. The beach was great. Only thing that was a little misleading was the pictures from the listing make it look like you are directly across the street from the lake when you are in fact across from the water department building. That really wasn’t a big deal as we spent so much time in the back yard. Really spacious accommodations for our family of 3 little kids, 1 tween, and 7 adults. Would definitely stay again!

Not well insulated

My family and I stayed here over Christmas during that cold snap. Unfortunately the heating is not very consistent. The downstairs bedrooms and rec room were very cold. ( We didn't have enough room in the refrigerator so we put the cake in the window sill to keep it cold.) One of the upstairs bedrooms had ice on the interior of the window. When we turned the heat up, the other two bedrooms were extremely hot. Otherwise the house is nice and we had a good time. We were disappointed that we could not take advantage of its location right across the street from the lake. We wish that one of the bedrooms had two twin beds instead of all queens. My son and daughter had to share a bed. For such a large house, you need a bigger coffee maker. We ran that little thing at least 5 times a day. Thank you for the wine and kringle!

Excellent host and great house for young families

My wife and 3 young children stayed at this property while attending a family event in South Milwaukee. The amount of bedrooms was great for our family, and we could have added more! It's also immediately adjacent to an awesome playground for kids right next to the lake. Also, the host is very responsive and communicative.

Racine Home

Home was beautiful. Home had everything that we needed. Fit our family needs well. The location was wonderful. The proximity to the lake/beach was awesome and convenient. Host was responsible and extremely easy to work with. We had a few hiccups like we couldnt use the grass for lawn games due to new sod being put in and the one washer did not work. Still give it a 5 Stars!

Nice Place for a Large Group

Clean and spacious with comfortable beds, a well-stocked kitchen, and nice personal touches. Excellent communication with our host. Located very near the beach with a limited Lake View. This nicely renovated property is located in an older, fairly quiet, modest income neighborhood. Great if you need to accommodate a large group.

Home by the lake

Seemed like this we may have been the first renters for this property. Everything seemed brand new. AC wasn’t working on the hottest day of the summer so far. Chris responded quickly when I called and a repairman was there within the hour to fix it. The layout is comfortable for a large family group like ours. And location by the lake and the large playscape couldn’t have worked out better for us.

I've been married for almost 40 years to my wife Alane and have three boys. My two oldest sons married Brazilian girls, Gillie and Juliana. Arthur and Juliana are in the Baltimore area with our little granddaughter Victoria and grandson Luca. Alex and Gillie are in San Jose. Our youngest son, Christopher (The Foof), is disabled and is the coolest kid. He's over 30 years old and lives at home with us.

Our family travels to a great many places. Foof travels everywhere with us and my other sons Arthur and Alex and their wives are world travelers as well. Foof goes with us to the Grand Cayman's several times a year as well as places like Aruba, Hawaii, Indy car races, concerts, and more. He loves to visit his brothers. I travel to China several times a year for business and pleasure.

I feel with all the travelling we do, we know what travelers want and like. We have gone the extra mile to make our properties fun and unique. We print the custom artwork that you see in our homes. We have top notch beds, pillows, and bedding, as well as gym work out equipment, fun activities like foosball tables, putting greens, and more. We would like your experience to be memorable, because in the end you only have the great memories of your adventures! We want to be part of that.
