Clean and fresh

We enjoyed our stay, the home was very inviting, stocked with all the basic things one could possibly need. Family was impressed with how very nice the accommodations were, location was easy to find, and yard and setting was quite lovely. Highly recommend this home !

Clean and Comfortable

The place was perfect for two couples. We enjoyed coffee on the deck in the mornings. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Overall we enjoyed out stay.

Full-stocked beautiful home near Booth Bay

This home is spacious, beautiful, and completely stocked with all you need! Shampoo, conditioner, soap, coffee capsules, sugar — all provided at this location. The comfortable beds and 2 full bathrooms were so nice! We would absolutely stay here again when in the area!

Just a short, overnight stay ...

but would highly recommend this property. Everything our group needed - very comfortable and within a quick drive to downtown Boothbay. Rental was off a busy road but was very quiet and peaceful. We only used this as a stopping off point for our travel further north but would consider staying again and for a longer period.

New England get away

We had a wonderful stay. The unit was just as pictured except for a large sectional for additional seating. Very clean and up to date. Location was good easy to get into Boothbay Harbour as well as traveling to near by towns like Damariscotta. It was a nice quiet location to return to in the evening. Bed was very comfortable. Would recommend to anyone considering staying here and would love to stay again.

A delightful house w/great location

The house sits on a quiet, pretty lot, surrounded by the woods. It's 2 miles from a grocery store and drug store, and also very close to town, where there are 1/2 dozen great seafood restaurants. The house is nicely furnished, and comfortable. The lighting is actually great -- you just have to find the switches on the far wall. The heat and cooling worked well.

Shipbuilder’s Retreat July 2023

Shipbuilder’s Retreat was a wonderful place to stay for our 2 week vacation in Maine. We explored East Boothbay, Boothbay Harbor and the surrounding region from this convenient and peaceful location. The home itself was beautiful, immaculate and stocked with everything we needed. Good communication with Jeanne as well. Overall a great experience!

Boothbay Gem

This is a great property!! Clean, well managed, great mattress, good location, well stocked, good TV, nice deck and landscaping. Our only suggestion to the owners is the living room sofa and chairs are way too small for regular size people to sit on. Otherwise.... this property is awesome!!!

No surprises

Our stay was just what we hoped for! The property was just like advertised! Beautiful decor and landscaping! We just did not have the weather to enjoy the beautiful outdoors, deck and porch. Perhaps next time!

Booth bay harbor retreat

We had a lovely time staying at this property. Close to all the activities we wanted to do. Spacious, modern and clean accommodations. The kitchen was well equipped for pur needs. No complaints from me and my family only compliments.

Amazing property!

My friend and I were looking for a last minute rental and came across the property. It’s exactly as the pictures show, beautifully decorated, kitchen has everything you need, immaculate and super comfortable beds. Jeanne was driving in as we arrived and was very welcoming. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely be back!
