This lovely 1923 3 BD/2 BA fully restored historic home is located steps from the Hotel Del Coronado, world famous beaches, bay and yacht club, and award-winning restaurants. Whether you desire privacy and serenity at home, strolling or biking through historic neighborhoods, a day on the water, July 4th fireworks, Sunday afternoon concerts in the park, or restaurants within a block's walk, everything is at your fingertips at Casa Adella. Beautiful gardens, peaceful fountains, fish pond and private, fenced yard enhance your stay. Fully renovated to reflect needs of today's lifestyle while offering the delightful experience of stepping back in time to a less complicated world.

Please note the city of Coronado has a strict policy of vacation rental stays for no less than 26 consecutive days. We adhere to these policies. A booking of less than 26 days will require we black out the rest of the month, and may increase the daily rate. Please message host for more details.

Amazing!!!!

We had the most fantastic stay at this property…we didn’t want to leave. Valerie was wonderful…she checked in frequently to make sure we had everything we needed and to give us recommendations. My husband and I were in town visiting family. When we weren’t busy, we just enjoyed relaxing at the house. It is so tranquil…the grounds have beautiful gardens and the house couldn’t be more gorgeous. We will definitely stay here when we visit in the future! Highly recommend to anyone staying on Coronado!

Bad Luck

Booking process and communication with Valerie prior to and during the stay was great. 3 bedroom/2 bath. Nice back yard where our kids could play in the grass and a nice table to have all of our meals outside. Kitchen was well stocked. Location was ideal being just a few blocks from the Del. Couple of things about the stay weren’t ideal but not deal breakers. No AC was tricky with 2 little kids. Air flow in the house wasn’t great and while we were there it was fairly hot. Trying to get a 4 and 1 year old to fall asleep when the temp in the house was 85 degrees was tough. There is also only street parking. Driveway isn’t long enough to park a car without blocking the sidewalk and the garage is full. It ended up being better than it could have been because we were able to get a spot right out front. The main issue we ran into was a flea infestation. It took a few days to figure out since we just thought we were getting mosquito bites. It was apparently a problem before our stay started (from the prior guest) but the house was treated and the issue thought to be resolved. Valerie was very apologetic about the situation and came over to try and treat it while we were at dinner. When there were still a ton of fleas the next morning we decided to cut the stay short. Best part about the place was the location and back yard. Worst was the temp in the house and obviously the fleas. Overall the place was as advertised and Valerie was responsive to the issues.

Coronado paradise

Valerie is a host extraordinaire! She responded to any questions and concerns, often within minutes. One could not ask for a better host in every way. The property is perfectly located within easy walking distance to the beach, shops and restaurants . It is such a beautiful updated historic property with a stunning back yard. An added bonus was the July 4th fireworks over Glorietta Bay right from the patio. I look forward to renting this property again next summer!!!!

Everyone who visits Casa Adella is enchanted with the home's old world charm, lovely gardens, peaceful and private back yard overlooking the Glorietta Bay, the home's location, the neighborhood birds, and tasteful appointments inside the home.

Casa Adella has been in our family for generations, specifically since the 1960s. We are third and fourth generation Coronado family members and are your resource for anything you may need to make your stay more complete. Having navigated short-term home rental experiences for multiple periods of the time (Casa Adella) as well as assisting local families in similar situations, we are experts at creating a personalized warm and inviting experience for your upcoming stay in Coronado, CA. Located in Coronado's "Golden Triangle" neighborhood, Casa Adella is 1/2 block from Orange Ave, wonderful restaurants and shopping. Just 2 blocks from Coronado beach and Hotel Del, it is truly the best location in Coronado Village. Casa Adella is between Orange Ave and the Coronado bridge, meaning it's an easy on/off the island without having to navigate much traffic and no stop lights. Walking, bike riding, strolling along the beach, renting water crafts at Glorietta Bay, tennis and more... Casa Adella is right in the middle of everything Coronado has to offer! Even if you decide to stay home and due to the home's unique character, you will feel miles away from everything in your personal, private zen environment.
