We’re from Hillsboro, Oregon, and have been visiting Maalaea for more than 20 years. We now spend several months each year on Maui and enjoy the area’s peaceful oceanfront setting, central location, beautiful views, and easy access to activities throughout the island.

We love spending time near the water, watching sea turtles and whales, exploring local beaches, and sharing our favorite Maui restaurants and experiences with guests. Hosting allows us to share a place that is very special to us while creating a comfortable, welcoming stay for others.

We’ve put a great deal of thought into making our condos inviting and well equipped, and we’re always happy to answer questions, help with special requests, or offer suggestions for things to do during your visit.

We chose Maalaea because it offers a peaceful oceanfront setting while still being centrally located for exploring Maui. We love waking up to the sound of the waves, watching sea turtles and boats from the shoreline, and enjoying the warm tropical trade winds.

The neighborhood has a relaxed, uncrowded feel, with Maalaea Harbor, restaurants, Maui Ocean Center and Sugar Beach nearby. Its central location also makes it convenient to reach Kihei, Wailea, Lahaina, Kahului and many of the island’s most popular beaches and activities.

After visiting Maalaea for more than 20 years, we knew this was where we wanted our Maui home to be. It gives us the peaceful atmosphere we enjoy while keeping guests close to everything they may want to experience during their stay.

What makes our penthouse truly unique is the combination of privacy, panoramic ocean views, and two separate outdoor spaces—a main-level lanai and a private rooftop sundeck found only with this unit.

Although the penthouse is located in a condominium building, it feels surprisingly private and peaceful. Guests can enjoy sweeping views, listen to the waves, and relax above the shoreline while still being close to many of Maui’s most popular activities.

The central Maalaea location is another major advantage. Kahului Airport is approximately 15 minutes away, and guests can walk to the beach, Maalaea Harbor, Maui Ocean Center, restaurants, shops, and a variety of snorkeling, diving, whale-watching, and boating excursions. It offers a quiet harbor-town atmosphere with convenient access to the rest of the island.
