Destination wedding

Our daughter and her now husband chose Juneau for their wedding and this house was perfect for our stay as it was comfortable and perfectly located for the entire area. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.

Beautiful home in Juneau

Great location. Not far from so many main attractions. Beautiful hiking trail right next door. Home very clean. The host was very quick in their response and very accommodating.

Great Place

Short stay in Juneau

Accommodation was top notch. We had a short stay in Juneau after fishing in Tenakee Springs. Location was perfect between downtown and the airport. Extremely nice and very clean. Didn’t need the owners for anything. Easy accessibility and plenty of space

Amazing Home

Fantastic host, wonderful stay

We stayed for a week, and we loved it! There were seven of us, all adults, and there was plenty of room for everyone. I was astonished at how well equipped the kitchen was. What a delight as we cooked quite a bit. The rest of the home had all the amenities and then some, Susan was wonderful throughout. I highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful place with everything we needed!

Extended family trip for Celebration 2024. Husband and I with two grown sons (plus one girlfriend), my sister and occasional drop ins of her grown kids that live in Juneau. Perfect location, not too close to downtown with all the tourists. Close to the airport and Mendenhall glacier. Kitchen is well stocked with great cooking equipment and pantry staples. Plenty of towels for a largish group like ours.

Wonderful stay

We had a great stay! The home throughout was very clean with a kitchen that was complete with everything. Our guest host was always available when we had any questions. Our grandchildren where so excited when they saw a momma bear with her two cubs! 😃. We would definitely reserve this home on our next visit toJuneau

Absolutely perfect

We visit Juneau every year for our anniversary and so far this is the best place we stayed. SUPER clean and had pretty much everything we needed. The kitchen is fully stocked and everything you need for laundry is supplied. We didnt spend alot of time at the house because we were out fishing. The best arent that comfortable if im honest byt not the worst. We would definitely stay here again. Wish they had a hose outside to rinse off our waders

Excellent Stay

We had a very nice stay to kick off our Alaskan vacation. The location was convenient to visiting both Mendenhall Glacier and the downtown area with our rental car. The house was spotless. We found everything we needed in the kitchen, from tasty coffee pods to ziplock bags to all the necessary pots and pans. The bedding and towels seemed quite new. We literally had no complaints. Thank you!

Away from downtown chaos

Susan's house was as described but the pictures do not do it justice. From cleanliness to supplies to comfort, the rental was perfect for our 3 generation family's needs. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was easy to navigate and well equipped. The bathrooms were spotless!! The family room had comfortable, adequate seating. The location was also great. While a car was needed, it was within close proximity of the airport, groceries, and hikes. The downtown area was easy to access but was not our cup of tea with all the cruise ships.

Awesome place.

Awesome place to stay. Lots of room for everyone. Love the jacuzzi tub! Greet neighborhood, and the owners are wonderful people and easy to get ahold of! Recommend staying here for sure!!

Fantastic and spacious home

This home was really wonderful! It is incredibly spacious and feels like everything is is brand new. The pictures don’t really do it justice. While the decor is sparse, the house feels quite warm and cozy. The kitchen is stocked with most things you would need for cooking and appliances seem brand new. I would definitely stay here again!

Great Experience

We enjoyed our stay! The house was very well stocked and updated and clean! Wonderful place to stay in Juneau. Just a block away at the end of the road is a great trail, we saw Salmon and enjoyed some wild berries. Because of a plane delay and missed connection we didn’t get there the first night, but would have loved more time in this beautiful home. We would definitely stay again!!!

Total Alaskan Experience

We were a group of four marooned Army pilots stuck in Juneau for a week while our helicopter was being repaired. The city was packed and we were left with no where to go. Then like beacon or hope we reached out to Susan through the site and her swift responses and willingness to work with our situation saved us from a cold wet night on the streets fighting bears. The house was perfect stocked with everything we could want. The beds were comfortable and even the pilot we made sleep on the pullout said it wasn’t bad at all. The home is located in a great area and easy to get to. The full Alaska experience was topped off with a wake up to a good sized black bear tossing the garbage can around in hopes it would unlock and deliver him some breakfast as well. If we ever find ourselves back in Juneau, we know exactly where to stay. 10 out of 10. Would recommend to a friend.
