Snowbird stay, disappointed
Cute house and nice pool area. Responsive owners.But the pics are far better than the actual house. Upon arrival the beds were not changed since last renter, kitchen counters, table, and doors were sticky, floors were dirty. Everything is worn, tired , and a bit sad. The furniture is uncomfortable and the kitchen is very understocked for a 2 month snowbird stay. I had to go to the dollar store to buy hangers, ice trays, much more silverware, plastic leftover containers, and a baking pan. No saucepan.Regarding the cleanliness I notified the owner when we arrived and she sent someone who cleaned the floors but by then I'd cleaned the kitchen and stripped the beds of dirty linens because, gross. The cleaners said they didnt have time because the property changed over the same day. ??We had a couple other small issues that the owner addressed in a timely manner so I dont blame them except that the entire property has just been alowed to become worn down. DesperateIy needs a heavy duty cleaning, new towels and sheets, a comfortable sofa and patio set, and some kitchen necessities. I should have done more looking for a 2 month stay.Its a decent safe neighborhood but wouldnt stay in Port St Lucie again due to traffic and urban sprawl.sad and furniture is all very asadansad
