I thank you for taking the time out to write a review although I find it to be a little excessive especially after what was about a day and a half stay. I've been hosting my place on Airbnb for about 2yrs now and your review is the ONLY one I received to this multitude. To have seen or said some of the things you're saying, I'm wondering if you went through the home with a microscope. If you found any push pins they would definitely been from another guest having some type of event at my place (although parties are not allowed). However, I will go through and examine for push pins and tape on the ceiling. I am close with neighbors on both sides of my place and never had an issue with anyone's pets barking, so I am truly sorry if you did. I will address this with them both as i want my guest to be comfortable when sataying. To address the outside furniture...there are really high winds in my area from time to time and when I had to literally pick my furniture up from across the yard, I found it safer as well as better preservation to keep the furniture inside because everyone doesn't use it. It's stated in the message I send out before your stay. I will gladly add a section that if you plan to use it and would like for me to place it I will, because that's not a problem for me. Board games was something that I thought would be cool to offer. When I placed them in my property they were brand new. I guess over time of guest allowing children to used them unattended and not responsible for putting them back missing pieces could be the case. I check for cleanliness as well as trying to make sure all the necessities are there, sorry if I missed the pieces to the board games. I will check them and remove whatever is not up to par. The tires in the far back corner of my yard are being gathered for a tire furniture project I saw an Pinecrest I wanted to offer for children. I just had not collected all I needed for the project yet. I thought being in the far corner it wouldn't bother anyone, as I have a pretty hefty size yard. The only food in the cabinets in the kitchen is things that everyone can use and not have to buy seasoning, oil, sauces and things of that sort. I thought it would be a good idea to offer this to guest. The cabinets are only held closed by the small cabinet spacers that serve the purpose that they are for. Not sure what you may have experienced beyond that. The box you speak of in the master closet is a security box for the alarm and it's in the closet out of anyone's way. I wouldn't see why anyone would need to open it, however it happens apparently! There's never been a fire at my home and no damage of such. When you enter my neighborhood unfortunately it is through another neighborhood which they don't always take pride in. However, as you enter my actual neighborhood at the sign we take pride in our area. We have a neighborhood watch that keep up with everything and I mean everything in the neighborhood and they coordinate even getting out and cleaning the neighborhood it need be! I'm so sorry you had such a terrible stay and if ever you run into such standards or conditions as you speak of you always have the option to reach out to VRBO and request a refund. It will take a little work such as pictures and details (it looks as if you had already done your homework there) and they will gladly relocate you. I'm sorry for your uncomfortable stay, but I guess my place is just not for everyone.
