Welcome to the Quarry, one of Whitefish’s finest luxury vacation rental developments! Aside from a multitude of amenities which include an outdoor pool, jacuzzi, lounge, game room, and gym, the Quarry also offers unparalleled convenience to all things Whitefish due to its central location:

-1 minute walk to S.N.O.W. bus stop (across the street) for access to Whitefish Mountain Resort
-3 minute walk to several restaurants, bars, and coffee stands in the neighborhood
-10 minute walk to Downtown Whitefish
-Half-mile walk to Whitefish City Beach for fun on Whitefish Lake
-A 45-minute drive to Glacier National Park for spectacular sightseeing

If you are looking for an accessible location that allots more time to experience your holiday and less time to plan it, you have come to the right spot!

The Space:

The Bison is a modern mountain townhome in The Quarry that affords over 1,000-sf of livable space, can sleep up to seven, and offers the guest exceptional privacy as there are no shared walls between townhomes. This state-of-the-art unit offers expansive windows and high ceilings which give it an open and airy feel. The Bison comes equipped with several Whitefish outdoor essentials for your adventures, including: a stand-up paddleboard, a day hiking pack, binoculars, two sets of snowshoes, camping/beach chairs, and bear spray so you can stay safe on the trails.

The lower level features a great room with a kitchen and breakfast bar, a relaxing living room built around a cozy fireplace, and a spacious king bedroom with ensuite bath. The living room sofa doubles as a pull-out queen sleeper. For those looking for a “work-cation,” the master bedroom serves as an excellent work from home office, equipped with a desk and large TV, ideal for video conferences. Additional work from home (WFH) setup includes a 27” monitor, wireless mouse and keyboard, and HDMI and USB-C cords.

A trip up the stairs grants access to the lofted queen bedroom which provides an excellent view of Big Mountain (Whitefish Mountain Ski Resort) out of the bedside window. The loft contains a full bathroom, a twin futon, a WFH home desk area, and access to the large rooftop deck with more Big Mountain views.

*** Please Note: The Hot Tub, Club House, and Fitness Center is open year-round from 5am-11pm. The pool is only open during the summer season.***

We had a wonderful stay at the Quarry development in Montana, perfectly situated close to Glacier National Park and Big Mountain. The home was spotless, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly well-stocked with everything we could possibly need—it truly felt like a home away from home. From the comfortable furnishings to the fully equipped kitchen, every detail made our stay seamless and enjoyable. The location was ideal for exploring the outdoors during the day and relaxing in comfort at night. We would gladly return and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

Cramped quarters for 6 people

I strive to be accurate and honest when I give VRBO reviews. As far as cleanliness and communication with the property managers, very good. Unfortunately, the beds were very uncomfortable and the quarters very tiny for us as a party of 6. The information said sleeps 7 which was counting a lounge chair in a loft as a bed. It might have sufficed for a small child but definitely not an adult. The location was also a plus as it was near the lake and the town of Whitefish. There were two bedrooms and two baths so 4 people probably could have been comfortable.

Beautiful living close to it all…

Everything about our stay here was amazing. First, the place is beautiful and immaculately kept. Everything you could possibly need was provided. We enjoyed playing games by the fire and enjoying the views from the rooftop deck. The property is just spectacular. It is also conveniently located. There are places to eat and shop right across the street, and it is also less than a mile to walk or drive into downtown. The location is ideal. Communication was also excellent! Whenever I had a question, the property managers got back to me within minutes. I could not recommend this property more and I hope to stay here again!

Great place - but……..

This was really an overall amazing place to stay. My only word of caution would be that these units have their furnaces on the second floor with the heating registers in the ceiling. While this is ideal for summer air conditioning, winter heating leaves much to be desired. The floor and everything from about 12” above the floor down to floor level is freezing. Plan appropriately with very warm pants, socks and shoes and you’ll be just fine. I would stay here again and recommend it - even with the one drawback. 😉

Great property and location!

Location was perfect and just across from Tamarack ski rental (whom the owners recommended, and they were winderful). Very comfortable inside and really appreciated the community hot tub after a long day skiing!

この宿泊施設の特徴

Glacier International Airport is located 10 minutes from the town of Whitefish. Shuttle service and car rentals are available at the airport. As there are not a lot of public transportation options, we recommend renting a car while visiting to give you the ease & enjoyment of traveling at your discretion. Snow tires are strongly recommended during winter months!

The historic Whitefish Train Depot is a major stop for Amtrak on the Empire Builder line. The train arrives daily from points east and west. The train station is an easy 10-minute drive from Whitefish Mountain Resort.

The S.N.O.W. (Shuttle Network of Whitefish) Bus is convenient and free. You can find bus schedules on Whitefish Mountain Resort's website.

Please inquire for special offers on rental cars if needed. Rental cars have limited availability so be sure to inquire in advance if interested.
