This home accommodates up to 6 guests, 3 bedrooms 2 bath. The primary bedroom features a king bed and en-suite bathroom with a shower. The 2 additional bedrooms share a bathroom. Enjoy the screened-in porch and gorgeous patio featuring a firepit, comfortable seating, grilling station and hot tub. Located near Hills Creek State Park, Downtown Wellsboro, and the PA Grand Canyon, this restful hideaway promises an unforgettable, nature-filled getaway.

Relax in the spacious living room with plush recliner, a cozy sofa, Smart TV, and a small work area. The roomy kitchen and dining area boast a farm-style table for memorable meals. Wander down the hall to discover two inviting bedrooms and a main bathroom equipped with an efficiency sized washer and dryer.

The screened-in porch with ample seating leads to the backyard oasis featuring a grilling station, firepit, with firewood provided, and hot tub! Enjoy modern amenities like air conditioning in the living room, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a coffee pot. We’re minutes from Wellsboro, the PA Grand Canyon, Pine Creek Rail Trail, State Game Lands, and wineries. Pet-Friendly with host approval and applicable pet fees for up to 2 house-trained dogs.

For your convenience, we provide a starter home kit with limited supplies of essentials. Remember to bring additional items your group may need. Linens, towels, and AC units are provided. Enjoy a hassle-free, contactless check-in experience.

Please read ALL the Dog-Friendly rules carefully, including the additional charge:
Dog Friendly-Must have prearranged approval from host and an additional $150 paid before arrival
- No more than 2 house trained dogs allowed.
-Dogs cannot be left unattended in/at the rental property unless crated.
-Dogs cannot be off leash while outside.
-Guests will clean up after dogs and dispose of waste as stated in the rental book.
- If evidence of pets on the property without prior approval, subject to $300 damage charge.
For direct bookings select the pet add on at checkout. For bookings via VRBO or Airbnb the pet fee ($150+tax) will be added after you book and communicate the pet addition to us.


Property caretaker lives in a separate home at the rear of the property, behind the grilling station and firepit.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Ding Dang property in Wellsboro, PA. The beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was very well stocked, which made cooking easy. The hot tub was especially nice during our icy New Year’s stay! The home was kid-friendly, and we loved gathering around the large kitchen table for meals and games. Overall, a cozy, well-equipped place that we’d happily stay at again.

House was very clean and had everything we needed. Hot tub was well maintained. Peaceful location only a short drive into town. We stayed for a week and found plenty to do. Would highly recommend this property.

Beautiful home!

The property was absolutely perfect for my family of 4, 2 grandparents, and our dog. It was very clean with so many perfect amenities for a home away from home. The decor is so comfortable and the house has an open floor plan with a long dining room table that is perfect for catching up with family and having game nights! We loved the hot tub and outdoor space also! It is truly a hidden gem!

Relaxing and Peaceful

Hidden Haven was a perfect spot for my families Wellsboro trip. The house is in a perfect location to get to all the State Parks, Wellsboro and Mansfield. The house is very clean and peaceful. The outdoor area was just perfect. We will definitely be back.

A place to relax

We spent two weeks in this home. Beautiful outdoor space and house is very clean and has all you need. It was a great place to relax and get away from everything. We saw deer almost everyday!

Girls' Getaway

What a great little place to spend time with friends, wander around the cute town of Wellsboro, and enjoy a hike at the PA Grand Canyon! The house was clean and exactly as expected. The hot tub was the highlight for us, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit! We hope to be back some day!

Property was as described on website. Well stocked. Loved outside area with fire pit. Close to Wellsboro and PA Grand Canyon. Did day trip to Corning, NY. Very peaceful environment. Definitely recommend.

Family get away

The home is in a beautiful setting, was fully stocked with everything we need! My daughter did complain about the firmness in first bedroom, and there was a lack of outside trash cans. Other than that we had a blast playing games, sitting by the fire outside, cooking, eating and exploring the area!!

Ding Dang Dandy!

The property is a short drive to everything we wanted to do and see: Hill Creek and Hammond Lakes, Wellsboro, the Grand Canyon, Pine Creek Rails to Trails, Mansfield for mini golf. The weather was beautiful, 10 degrees cooler than home. The home had a fire pit and beautiful outdoor space. Stocked kitchen. Too cloudy for Cherry Springs but next time! Thank you!

Great place overall

Finding the property was easy using Waze. Check in info was given with plenty of advance notice, and the information was easily understood. One of the 2 outside stairs to the main entrance was a bit higher than standard with no handrail, making it a bit of a challenge for my mother of 88 years, but the kitchen entrance was much easier. The barbecue area in the back was stellar, and despite the less than perfect weather, the roof overhead made the area a pleasure to use. The house is very clean and well equipped with everything you could possibly need. And if you’re looking for peace and quiet, this is the place!

Peaceful haven

Our family went to check out colleges and found this hidden gem! It was quiet & beautiful. A full stocked kitchen. You could even make pizza since they had the stone and paddle. Tons of towels, detergent, tissues, paper towels, garbage bags, seasonings, etc. We spoke with Meghan because the door was locked on the bottom for entry. She was super helpful and polite! We would LOVE to stay there again. Plus 2 of our kids think they found they're DREAM colleges!

Secluded cabin

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hidden Haven! Check in was fast: just punched in the code.The property was very secluded, just what we were looking for. We loved the house itself, very comfortable and spatious, with fully equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and choices of 2 baths (always important). Beautiful wooden ceiling in living. We brought our own towels, but we didn’t have to: there were plenty of clean supplies. The house was cool when we got there, but we only ran the AC in the bedroom, the wooden area around the house made it quite cool. The outdoor space was very nice, we grilled everyday and made camp fire, also enjoyed the modern hot tub! Too bad we caught one rainy day, but the rest were beautiful and we got to enjoy the Grand Canyon, only 20-25 min away; the town is even closer, about 15 min.
