Rustic Charm with Breathtaking Mountain Views

Going-to-the-Sun road opens Monday, June 16th!

Located just outside of Columbia Falls, Montana, Rustic Range Retreat is nestled at the base of the north end of the Swan Range Mountains. This rustic modern farmhouse is pet and family friendly featuring stunning panoramic mountain views right out the front door. Columbia Falls is a budding and quaint little town located just before the West Glacier entrance to Glacier National Park. In this centrally located home you are just minutes from Kalispell City, Glacier National Park, and Flathead Lake. Additionally, we are located near the upscale community of Whitefish, home of Whitefish Mountain Resort (formerly known as Big Mountain). With over 3000 skiable acres, Whitefish Mountain Resort features world class skiing and is one of the largest ski resorts in the United States and Canada, and don’t forget to check out their summer activities!

Rustic Range Retreat is a 3 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom with each bedroom featuring its own en-suite, and a half bath on the main floor. The main floor bedroom is equipped with a king bed, walk in shower, and jacuzzi soaking tub. The upstairs bedrooms are equipped with one queen and two twins beds. There are smart TVs with streaming capability in the King and Queen suites. The main floor living space features a charming fireplace, comfortable seating, and a big screen TV with DirectTV. The kitchen is fully equipped for all your culinary needs with breakfast bar seating as well as a spacious dining table with seating for 8. Our rentals are fully stocked with bed and bath linens, paper supplies, soaps, basic cooking ingredients, and coffee.

The home is doggo friendly; with a two car garage complete with spacious kennel and dog door to the large fenced back yard, the Rustic Range Retreat is the perfect vacation for your pooch!

*Due to high demand in the summer months, early check-ins and late checkouts are rarely available, even for a fee. Plan on booking an additional night before or after your trip if your group needs require you to check in earlier than 4pm or check out later than 10am. We are happy to provide them for free if they are available but don't know until the day of.

A mountain ranch oasis

The house description is accurate: very cosy, well divided. Kitchen is very well equipped, (pantry includes different spices, oil, tea etc. for those who intend to cook a fast meal); the king bed in the master bedroom is very comfy (mattress on the firm side). Besides all described above, we appreciated the cleanliness of this place and the huge yard. Our weeklong stay was enhanced by the proximity to the West Entrance of the Glacier National Park (about 20 minutes), to downtown Whitefish (10 minutes), Flathead Lake

Great place to stay

This property was in a great area, centrally located, great views and good neighborhood. Basic essentials were provided which made it nice not to have to go buy everything. Clean and spacious.

Beautiful

Very comfortable, cozy home in a great neighborhood, with stunning mountain views. Excellent location to Glacier, Whitefish and Bigfork. The yard is large and fenced in, perfect for dogs. I would stay here again.

Perfect!

We used the Vrbo to visit family in the area. The home was perfect for our needs. We had a wonderful view of the mountain each morning that we really enjoyed. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

Amazing & relaxing

A great place to relax with our family and dogs. The locations was close to Whitefish, Glacier, Flathead etc. We had everything we needed and appreciated that ours dogs has the big fenced yard to play in. So many great memories made!

Mountain view

This house is big enough for a large family & dog great yard. It’s close to lots of attractions and places to eat. Glacier National park is so close you can spend a few hours at glacier and be able to go home to eat and freshen up and still be able to go back to glacier. At this house you have so many fishing areas to choose from that are close to the house.

Beautiful views and home

We had a wonderful time at this property. It had everything we needed. It was close enough to the festival that we were attending and we were able to get a cab with no issues . The views were stellar. The property manager had great communication skills, and the whole process was very streamlined and easy would definitely stay here again.

Pur host Aja was very helpful answering questions about the property. The property was just as described with all soaps and cleaning supplies provided. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking. The living room and dining room were comfy and good for the 4 of us, but there is really only enough seating on couch and chair for 4 adults. The master bed was very comfortable but be sure to bring your own pillows if you are a side sleeper and need something with more suppport than the basic down pillows. My folks reported the upstairs queen bed was very squeaky which kept waking them up every time they turned over, they considered going and trying their sleep in the other room woth the 2 twin kids beds, but didn't. The backyard was large and completely secure for our dogs. Only 4 chairs and a small table for comfortable seating on back patio There is a kennel with a doggie door in the garage. The garage is small, my Tahoe fit at an angle but there is no way my dad's pick up would have fit. This property is best suited for 4 adults or 2 adults with 2 kids, in my opinion, just based on the space and seating in the living room as there are exactly 4 seats and not really a way to gain more unless someone sits on a bar stool or drags a dining room chair over behind the couch. The location was awesome for visiting Glacier, Kalispell and Whitefish. The restaurants in Columbia Falls were also great and we highly recommend Vaqueros and Gunsight Saloon. Lots of great sights to see here.

Wonderful place to stay

The house is located within 20-30 minutes of West Glacier entrance and a Starbucks is on the way. The house has a bedroom on the first floor and two bedrooms on the second floor each wit their own bathroom- that was very convenient. We had several questions before and after we arrived and Aja responded very quickly. The surrounding area of the house was very quiet and nice such that we took a nice walk around the neighborhood. We would stay again. Also, Aja provided a nice basket of snacks which was a very nice treat.

Clean and comfy!

My family of 6 (4 children ages 4-12) thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Upon arrival it was clean and tidy, which is of utmost importance to me! Beds were comfy and bathrooms and showers were very clean. There was a large fenced in backyard the kids loved playing in. Only about 20 minutes to the west entrance to GNP. A great launch point for hiking and seeing the park. Thank you for such a great place for us to stay!

Comfy home

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home. The property manager, Aja, was very responsive with all the details for our trip. The neighborhood was very quiet and peaceful and it was an easy 25 minute drive to the west entrance to Glacier Nat'l Park. It was also convenient to Columbia Falls, Kalispell & Whitefish towns. We felt very at home and would stay here again. We loved our stay!!

Lovely Home

This home was perfect for us. We booked it last minute and it was larger than what the 3 of us needed. The fenced in backyard was nice for the dogs to run. The house was clean and everything was in working order. It was located in a very nice neighborhood. The beds were extremely comfortable which was nice after being on the road so long and hiking the trails in Glacier .The property manager (Aja) was quick to respond whenever I reached out.
