Our small group really enjoyed our stay at this charming cottage. The location is perfect - a short walk to both the beach and St Armands Circle. There were a few small glitches with the door alarms and one door that would not stay closed but they were quickly remedied by an attentive maintenance person. The cottage is advertised as a 4 bedroom, 2 bath home. It’s important to note that the 4th bedroom is actually a small pantry, right off the kitchen, and redone as a room with a bunk bed and barn door for closure. There are no windows, no dresser or closet - it IS a closet, with no room other than the bed. The other 3 bedrooms are great with plenty of space. One bedroom has a en-suite bath which includes a walk in closet, the laundry room and a door that goes out to the pool area. The other bedrooms can share the small, dated second bath room. Beds are pretty comfortable and the only thing needing attention was the pocket door closure for one bedroom which was off the tracks and difficult to open. The living space is open and inviting with plenty of seating space. The bikes and beach chairs were great, as was the pool area with outdoor seating. Indoor amenities were OK, but on the skimpy side - other than a roll of paper towels, plan to supply everything else. Especially missing were pot holders, a salt and pepper shaker, and any type of cleaner for the countertops. Despite the loud neighbors, we really enjoyed our stay here and recommend it.
