BEAUTIFUL LAKE VIEW RETREAT “SUNSET OASIS!” Enjoy magical evenings watching the gorgeous sunsets reflecting Lake Tenkiller at Sunset Oasis! Newly renovated and sits on top of Pettit Bay Mountain — Lake Tenkiller in the foothills of the Ozark’s. Perfect for romantic weekend getaways, family get togethers, bird (bluebirders) & wildlife observation, fishing trips, etc. Located less than a mile from entrance to Pettit Bay Recreation Area and the new Bluewater Bay Marina. NEW OWNERSHIP. Amazing view on top of PETTIT BAY MOUNTAIN! This spacious 2000 sq. ft. lake-view getaway open floor plan with two living areas and separate dining room is perfect for families and easily sleeps 10 with plenty of room to spare. The master bedroom suite with new linens & bedding has a queen-size bed, shower and soaker tub; the second bedroom has a queen-size bed and the third bedroom has two twin bunk beds. There are two queen-size pullout couches, one in the living room and the other in the family room. The dining area has a kitchen table that seats 8 with an additional 3 bar stools at the counter. There is plenty of room to set up the 6-foot folding table and chairs that are provided should you need additional seating. From the family room & kitchen you can view Lake Tenkiller and the amazing sunsets through the two large picture windows or you can venture out onto the 600 square ft deck to take in the beautiful views. The deck has two round tables with seating, two rocking chairs and additional lounging chairs in shed. Casey our property manager has the keys. Additional amenities include a fire pit, family games, a covered car port for your vehicles or boat and a small screened in porch to store your wet gear from a day on the water. New GRILL to enjoy delicious BBQ. Access to Lake Tenkiller is less than a mile away at Pettit Bay Recreation Area and Bluewater Bay Marina. Tahlequah is only 15 minutes away if you are looking for additional things to do or places to eat. If you love the outdoors, fishing, bird watching and wildlife and want to get away from the hustle and bustle of city living for a day or a month then this is the place for you.

Our family stayed at Sunset Oasis over Thanksgiving break. 2 parts of our family recently moved to the area so we figured the rest of us would road trip up for the holiday. The house was big enough for 7 of us to sleep comfortably and host another 9 without feeling too crowded. There are 2 living room areas with plenty of seating, a dining room table and bar area so there was more than enough seating. The outdoor patio area was also a beautiful backdrop for our family pictures. The views, espcially the sunsets, were amzing! The house was loaded with any and all supplies we needed and the host was very responsive and helpful. All in all it was wonderful trip and we are hoping to be able to come back and visit during the summer so we can enjoy some lake activities.

We had an amazing stay. I can not express how wonderful the view was! Every message was answered timely, the house was immaculate. The kids had a wonderful time watching the deer and baby birds. And no better seat on the lake for fireworks!!!

This is a truly delightful property! The decor was so tastefully done. It was bright and airy and the lake views were splendid. The pictures don't do justice to the actual interiors. It is so much more prettier in person. It was so peaceful and relaxing and a good place to get away from it all! Every morning we had a group of free range chickens and roosters greeting us. Two beautiful robins were frequent visitors, a plethora of birds, squirrels, deer etc.There were plenty of entertainment options to keep our family busy! A good selection of books for adults and kids alike, games, DVD's, Wii games etc. The kitchen was well stocked. Everything was pristine and immaculate! We truly enjoyed our stay!

Killer view of lake Tenkiller

The pictures posted of the view over the lake don’t do the property justice. It’s just as pretty as it looks if not prettier.The drive down to the docks for pizza or boat rentals is quick and easy. You’re really close to town and stores yet still out in the wilderness.

The property was beautiful inside and out! The attention to detail made the experience even better. Warm, cozy blankets were ideal for nature watching from a huge bay window! The quiet neighborhood was great for sleeping in in the mornings. Our kids spent tons of time hanging out in the hammock. Casey, the property manager, was incredibly helpful and sweet. Very nice place for a smaller group! Slept 11 comfortably! The view from balcony was gorgeous! House was stocked with most everything we needed, kids games and tv! Nice fire pit outside! We had a great stay! Lake was awesome as well! Would recommend.

From Florida to Oklahoma

The property is beautiful, the views off the back deck are amazing.. It was so comfortable with plenty of room for my whole crew, and was stocked full of amenities. I rate this spot 5 stars, and will definitely rent it again on my next trip out.

My name is Jan Ameringer Swanson. My husband Jerry and I recently retired and acquired this property on June 20, 2022. We had stayed here twice via VRBO and fell in love with the extraordinary views of Lake Tenkiller in the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. We have hired Casey Spencer as our property manager to assist or answer any local questions you may have. Our hope is that you will fall in love with this property as we did the first time you experience the spectacular sunsets and lake views overlooking the beautiful Pettit Bay at Tenkiller Lake. Decorated with art from Oklahoma.

BEAUTIFUL view overlooking Lake Tenkiller. Situated In the foothills of the Ozark Mountains. An abundance of wildlife and birds flourish in this unique landscape. I especially love the foggy mornings when the clouds hang suspended in the sky and hug the contours of the lovely Pettit Bay. Close to Piddles Bar and restaurant and Dockside Pizza. Nancy’s pie and restaurant and Big Red cafe 7 mins away. Dollar General approx 10 mins away. Contact Casey our manager for more activities. Lots to do within 15 mins drive!

Guests love the awesome Lake and Mountain View’s from the 600 square foot deck. We allow late checkouts .. you will need to talk to Casey our properly manager so she can accommodate your late checkout.
