Happy vacation memories happen here!

[PLEASE NOTE: Union County passed an ordinance restricting our ability to advertise our home for anything larger than a 3 BR / 2 BA, with a maximum capacity of 8 guests.]

The house itself is super-spacious with large bedrooms, and a bunk room. The master and guest bedrooms have king beds and closets. The other 'office' has a queen and a closet. The bunk bed has a full mattress on the bottom and a twin on top. The bunk room also has a couch.

Three large decks overlook the lake with a gas fire pit and plenty of comfortable seating to watch the sunset over the lake. If that's not enough, enjoy the sunset on the party deck two-slip, private dock. You'll spend hours jumping off the top deck. Sectional seating is perfect for all-day fun in the sun or an afternoon nap. Spend your days swimming, fishing, boating or just hanging out.

Water toys include a large Lily Pad, float chairs, towable tubes, noodles, and swim floats.

We have two pontoon boats with tube & rope is available separately for rent (please inquire). Other watercraft (pontoons or jet skis) can be rented at the local marinas.

The large flat front yard is perfect for outdoor games like badminton, croquet, and corn hole.

It'll be hard to leave the lake, but if you do, there are plenty of activities nearby. Shopping in downtown Blairsville or adorable Blue Ridge (20 minutes away). Hike Brasstown Bald, Blood Mountain, Vogel State Park, or any number of other state parks with waterfalls and small lakes. There are Wineries galore within minutes and Harrah's Casino in Murphy, NC is less than 30 minutes away.

A large living area upstairs faces a wood-burning fireplace. The downstairs great room has a bar and wood-burning stove.

Washer/Dryer upstairs. Two gas ovens, a dishwasher, and two sinks in the kitchen.

All essentials included. Fast WiFi, two smart TVs.

Excellent home for a vacation. Spacious house! The floating dock was the biggest hit with the grand kids. They stayed in the water most of the time. We also rented the pontoon boat. Enjoyed our time on the lake. We felt like we were the only ones on the lake. Would stay again and highly recommend for a peaceful vacation. The owners were very easy to work with.

Beautiful home in the perfect location. Plenty of space for our family vacation of 8 plus our dog. We loved the lake access and the many decks to enjoy relaxing! Highly recommend this property for your stay.And if you are considering about renting the boat, do it!!!

First visit to this wonderful air bnb home and already trying to book next years trip to come back! Home was plenty big enough, fully equipped for cooking (the Big Green Egg was awesome!), and lake location was beautiful with minimal boat traffic. Communication with property owner was great and answered any questions we had within minutes. Highly recommended property!!!!

Quiet mountain get-away

We really enjoyed our time here. It was very quiet and relaxing and the boys loved fishing and jumping off the upper dock.

Great Dock and Pontoon Rental

The dock is amazing and it was very convenient to have the pontoon rental! A railing is needed for the last staircase down to the dock though. Our guests said the beds were all very comfortable. The outside deck is very nice with great seating options.

Great Time at the Lake

Our family of four visited for a long weekend. The house was great, and had everything that you could need. It was clean and in a great location. The dock was great, although our weather wasn't. We will definitely be back.

Perfect Lake Nottely cabin

Wonderful cabin for lake activities and proximity to local points of interest. Very convenient to have the boat included instead of renting from a marina. Excellent communication and attention from the owner. It was everything we wanted!

Wonderful lake house!

The lake house is a perfect setup for two families or a group of friends. It’s nestled in the mountains and off the main route of boats so it’s quiet and perfect for swimming. At night we enjoyed watching the sunset from the top of the dock and hung out by the fire on the top deck. The rooms were all very spacious and we also loved the grill and big green egg. We will definitely come back!

Great for two families or families with older kids

We had a great stay. The house and dock are huge, but the house is still cozy. The upstairs kitchen and living are is easy for large groups to hang out, cook and eat together. The downstairs has its own living room area, bar and deck with outside access so it was great for our teenagers to have their own space downstairs to be loud and the adults got to relax upstairs by the fire. It was winter for our stay but would be fantastic in the summer with all the lake activities and the huge dock.

Lake Nottely Stay

Overall we enjoyed our stay at this home. There was plenty of space for our family and we had everything we needed. The dock was beautiful and we enjoyed all of the outdoor furniture there. The hosts were responsive and provided clear information about the home. There were a few small maintenance things in the home that could have used attention or updating to make it a 5 star stay, but otherwise we enjoyed our stay!

Great lake vacation

Our family had a wonderful time at our lake vacation. Everything about the house was nice and comfortable, including the beds and bedding. Plenty of space inside the home, and our dog appreciated the grassy, level front yard. The dock is fantastic; our kids loved jumping off the top deck, and there was a nice spot to dock the ski boat we rented from the marina. It was still a bit cool during our trip, so we used the gas fire pit every evening. I really enjoyed the location on the lake, nice and quiet and not much boat traffic, but quick and easy to access the open water so the boys could ski.

Great week!

The house, amenities, location, communication were spot on! You can tell the owners have put much thought into what their guests need as well as many enjoyable wants. Renting the pontoon on site instead of at the marina was very convenient. We had 10 people ranging in age from 14 months to 89 years old and this place worked well for all of us! Phenomenal dock that lends itself nicely for hanging out at all day...swimming, jumping off of top deck, floating, fishing, relaxing on the lily pad and so on. The top deck with great views is so relaxing especially with the sun shades. On the way home our grandsons (5 and 8) were asked what their favorite part of the trip was and their answers were “All of it” and “Every single part”! I agree with them as it would be hard to pick a favorite!

Lake Nottely Gem

Our family and friends enjoyed wrapping up summer break with a stay at this charming lake house on Lake Nottely. It was our first visit to the lake and it didn't disappoint. Very quiet, perfect for tubing with our young children. The house has a great multi-family layout and had plenty of room for the nine of us. A small yard out front for the kids to run, a firepit on the deck to roast marshmallows, plenty of cookware and plates to serve meals, and the highlight - the DOUBLE DECKER boat dock! The kids had a blast jumping off the dock and enjoying the lake toys/floats. The Wi-fi worked fine, but we had some issues with the TV. Also, there is currently no garbage pick up. Neither of these would prevent us from here staying again.

Wonderful Relaxing Family Retreat

My family and I had a phenomenal stay at this lake house. It was a much needed respite this summer and seems like a hidden gem! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook (the grills were also a nice bonus) and host large family meals. The beds were unbelievably comfortable and the sunrise view of the lake from the bedrooms was breathtaking! The kids also really enjoyed the bunk bed room. That being said, we spent most of our time out on the dock and hanging out in the water. It was maybe the largest and nicest dock compared to all the others we could see nearby. The top of the dock was such a treat, especially at sunset. Many laughs were had and great memories made this weekend. The hosts were so gracious to let us book last minute when our other booking fell through. We are actually glad it all worked out this way. Highly recommend this rental!!! Cannot rave about it enough. We will be back!

A Perfect Lake House

My family & I had the pleasure of staying at this amazing lake home in July. First off, the owners (Erika & Kurt) were incredibly kind & their communication was on point. As we pulled up to the house, it had a huge grassy lawn which our dog loved. The house was super spacious, the kitchen was very large with 2 working ovens. The back of the house had all glass French doors overlooking the beautiful lake. The 2 main level bedrooms as well as the downstairs bedrooms were a fantastic size. The upper section had plenty of seating to hang out & enjoy coffee in the morning. We also grilled food a lot during our stay which is located on the upper deck as well. The lower deck we enjoyed playing corn hole. The Best part of our stay as hanging out on an incredible & brand new 2 story boat dock. Between fishing, floating in the lake which had many floats to choose from that were supplied from the owner, to our kiddos jumping into the lake over & over again from the 2nd story dock (it’s deep water) so very safe. Let’s just say our kids slept really good every night lol. We enjoyed sitting on the top deck every evening to watch the sunset….which also has beautiful furniture to lounge & relax on. The owners had a 21 foot Searay boat available to rent. We took advantage of this option. There was a huge sitting tube available to use & rope to pull the kids behind the boat. My kids were in all their glory….the laughs & smiles as we pulled them was so much fun to watch. We enjoyed taking the boat after dinner for an evening cruise. The location of this property was super convenient. Walmart was close by & the bait shop as well. We cannot wait to come visit their amazing home again!!

The amenities were awesome, we had a fire going in the fireplace the whole time during the day. The gas grill and gas fireplace on the deck were great as well, we sat around the gas fireplace in the evening and reminisced about old times. One thing I would ask the owners before booking though (especially in the colder months), is about the steps to the dock. The older couple that booked the VRBO could not go to the dock because the platform to the deck was not pulled up to the steps; therefore, only the younger generations were able to crawl up and down to get to the dock. And a note to the owners, we did have a great time with family but I would definitely change cleaning services. Thank you for sharing your home.

Wonderful property!

We spent a long weekend with 6 adults and 4 kids at this wonderful house right on Lake Nottely. Plenty of room for everyone inside and out on the decks and boat house. The owners were always responsive with any questions. We will be back!

Beautiful home inside and out!! Amazing views, fully stocked house to make vacationing here so easy. We had an absolutely perfect trip. The house was so comfortable from the beds, linens, furniture, so the connivence of having everything we needed at the house. We went out on our family's boat one day, white water rafting at the Ocoee River, day in downtown Blue Ridge, and just hanging out at the house for great food and drinks! Only regret is not booking next summer soon enough but we will definitely be back again soon. I wished they did trash pick up that was inconvenient to have to bring to the dump but other than that every part of this vacation house was perfect. Thanks again!
