Located in the heart of Old San Juan, KASA Charming Luna is a spacious 1+ bedroom apartment for two. The apartment is on the third floor of an historic building. The building and apartment are in the traditional Old San Juan style with wood doors to the sunny, large terrace with dining four and open concept living space with full kitchen.

The large master bedroom provides a king sized bed, direct access to the terrace and a connecting full bathroom with shower. In the rear of the apartment is a second bedroom with double bed which also connects the bathroom. The only space not fully air conditioned is the second bedroom. The open living space includes full kitchen and dining for 4. There is also direct access to the terrace.

The apartment is completely private in a small condominium building.
KASA House Rules and Policies:
Welcome to KASA! We’re excited to host you and want to ensure you have a fantastic stay. Here are a few important guidelines to help make your experience enjoyable and avoid any misunderstandings.

In order receive detailed self-check in instructions, the guest is required to upload a photo government ID of every guest staying at the property as well as phone number and email for each party.
The individual who makes the reservation must be the registered guest, be at least 25 years old. We kindly ask guests to use the property as a vacation rental, adhering to all applicable laws. Only the confirmed number of guests listed in the reservation are allowed in the unit. We kindly as our guests to maintain a peaceful environment, ensuring that noise or disturbances do not disturb nearby property owners. Any disruptive behavior in the unit or common areas may lead to the immediate eviction from the premises, and unfortunately, no refunds will be offered. Guests will also be responsible for any fines incurred due to inappropriate behavior while on the property.
Check-in is available any time after 3 PM, and we kindly ask that you check out by 11 AM. Special arrangements, if possible, may be made in advance by contacting KASA.
We want to maintain a peaceful environment, so parties or events are not permitted unless specifically approved in advance.
For the comfort of all our guests, smoking or vaping products are not allowed in the property. A fee of $500 will be incurred if this policy is not followed.

In the event that you misplace any items, please note the following fees:
$75 for lost keys
$50 for lost or damaged TV remote or AC/FAN remote
$60 for lost or damaged parking remote.
As your host during this short-term stay, we retain the right to cancel a reservation due to unforeseen circumstances. If that happens, we will strive to provide similar accommodation or offer a full refund or credit for a future visit.
Please be aware that our cancellation policy varies based on the booking. You can find the specific terms associated with your reservation on the booking platform used. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method within ten business days.
If you`ve been approved to bring a pet, an additional $250 damage deposit will apply.
If you do not check in for your reservation, without prior notice, the entire cost of the stay will be charged, and no refunds will be issued.
Regarding utility outages, please note that if they occur due to circumstances beyond our control, we are unable to provide refunds or compensation unless the outage lasts more than 24 hours. In such cases, any compensation will be determined at the host`s discretion. For any issues related to Wi-Fi outages, we will do everything possible to have services restored by the provider, however, we regret that no refunds can be issued.
If guests leave personal items behind, we will make every reasonable effort to return them after contacting the guest. However, if these items remain unclaimed for 30 days, they will become the property of the host, who cannot be held responsible for their condition.
We also want to clarify that no refunds can be granted for shortened stays due to adverse weather, personal emergencies, or other commitments.
Please be aware that KASA cannot accept responsibility for any damages to vehicles parked on the property.
We understand that weather can be a concern when traveling to a tropical island. Our hurricane and storm policy are designed to be clear and fair. Refunds will only be issued if the National Weather Service declares a mandatory evacuation for our location. In such a case, we`ll refund the unused portion of your current booking, or any reservation scheduled to begin during the mandatory evacuation period, starting from the day the order is given. Unfortunately, we cannot offer refunds for regular rain or tropical storms, as these are part of the natural climate here. However, we`re happy to work with you to reschedule your cancelled vacation based on our availability.
LIABILITY WAIVER: KASA Vacation Rentals is not liable for any lost, stolen, or damaged personal items that belong to guests. This includes losses from natural events such as floods, storms, or other `Acts of Nature.` Additionally, for incidents like fire, water issues, power outages beyond our control, or disruptions caused by service providers, KASA cannot be held responsible for any additional costs or losses incurred by the guest.
To ensure a pleasant stay for all, it`s essential to adhere to these guidelines, along with property and public health regulations. Noncompliance may result in early termination of the reservation without a refund. Guests agree to cover any reasonable costs, including attorney fees, incurred by the owner in enforcing this agreement.

Great Spot!

We stayed here on a work trip and really enjoyed the stay. The location makes walking around very convenient but it is still private enough that the streets aren't loud at night. Great place!

Best location in Old San Juan, with a beautiful balcony. Two bedrooms and a big room, fully equipped kitchen. All great! The only thing to keep in mind is that there is no lift, if you have any mobility restrictions.

Great place to enjoy old San Juan. Calm and quiet street, but in the immediate vicinity of shops, bars and restaurants. Appartment is nice and fulfilled all the needs of 3 ppl. Great stay!

11 days in Old San Juan

Great location in the center of town. Easy walk to everywhere we wanted to go. The 50 steps up to the apartment gave us good reason to stay out all day. Lots of room, the balcony was a welcome space in the mornings and evenings. Host was easy to reach and responsive.

Plenty of space in Old San Juan

My family (kids aged 3 and 5) really enjoyed our stay at Peter's place in Old San Juan. Clean place, great location, good amount of room, well equipped kitchen. As other people mentioned, the two bedrooms are definitely not created equal and there are a decent number of stairs leading up to the place (which my kids were able to navigate without issue), but these are minor quibbles. Would definitely stay here again if we are ever back in San Juan.

Great apartment in a great location

This apartment was perfectly located for easy walking around Old San Juan. There's a grocery store just a block and a half away and endless opportunities to eat out nearby. The patio was a wonderful place to sit out and enjoy the morning / evening air. Highly recommend this place! We were there with our 2 kids (6 and 8 years old) and it was perfect.

Great apartment

The apartment was great! Great location, large terrace which overlooked Calle de la Luna. This is where we spent most of time. Very clean, kitchen was good for preparing simple meals. Master bedroom was roomy. The second bedroom was small but comfortable. Three flights of stairs were no problem for us.

Beautiful but kitchen supplies lacking

This location was beautiful, and we loved being in a historic building. We were able to walk to most locations during our stay. We enjoyed the open concept and the balcony area. Overall, we were satisfied. However, you may want to ensure that visitors are aware that there are 51 steps to climb to get to/ from the apartment. The description of the property indicates a King size bed in the master, which should be revised to indicate the queen size bed. My family enjoys cooking, but the kitchen was not stocked well. I would suggest more pots and pans, baking pans, storage containers, and some more casual cups and dishes. Also, we could not locate dish towels or cloths. Thank you for having us
