The Cardinal is a stylish well-appointed apartment. You will find it on Knightridge Campground, the perfect place to get away for a retreat in the woods. It has access to over 200,000 acres and 266 miles of hiking, horseback riding and mountain bike trails in the Hoosier national Forest right outside your door. This getaway is perfect for people who love mountain biking, hiking, and nature. Our campground is a boaters community, and you will find yourself just minutes away from the first ramp and a community beach. There is laundry on site with guest showers. This is in addition to your own private shower inside of your space. You will find that the Cardinal provides plenty of space and entertainment for you to release and let go!

We are excited you've made it this far. We are a family of 5 and love being hosts. As experienced hosts that also hold full-time jobs we understand the value of getting away on a retreat. We spend most of our days working as a nurse and other real estate endeavors. Like many others we love to travel and rack up the adventures when its possible. Our favorite destinations so far have been Scotland, Australia, and California. But we take it in the experiences wherever we go!

This stylish apartment on Knightridge Campground has access to 202,814 acres, 266 miles of hiking, horseback riding & mountain bike trails in Hoosier National Forest right outside your door This is perfect for people who love to hike, mountain bike, fish, boat, kayak and camp. The cabin has a full bathroom with stand up shower. This space has a queen bed and a couch so It can accommodate up to 3 people max. If you bring a blowup mattress you can squeeze upto 5. The outdoor shelter house is one of the cabins best features. Plenty room for a great picnic and s’mores over the fire pit. Also if you have a boat or camper there is parking for that too!

Gas and Groceries: The Heltonville Deli and Grocery in Heltonville. The fishing Shed in Bloomington. A couple miles away. The Dollar General in Bedford. About 7 miles away. Bloomington is not a far drive if you want more selection.
Shopping: 5 miles to College Mall in Bloomington
Lake Monroe 3 miles away
Pets are allowed for an extra 1 time Pet Fee of $15 a stay. Also your pet must not have flees and must be house broke. Please pick up yard after your pet. Please let us know if you are bringing a pet. If you do bring a pet I will send you a payment request for the $15 as Airbnb does not directly bill this fee.
