Perfect Location on the Cane River

The location is perfect for a quick getaway. Situated right on the Cane River, it offers excellent opportunities for fishing, cooking out, or simply spending time with family and friends. We would definitely book a stay here again and recommend it to our loved ones. It also serves as an ideal base for visiting the Christmas Festival.

One of my favorite places!

We love this place! We go every year! It is so calm and and serene. It's awesome to have the boat ramp. We love the fact that it's fenced in...our dog has the best time running and playing in the yard. Wonderful place!

Weekend Family Trip

We enjoyed our weekend at your cozy home on the river so much! Quite neighborhood in very close proximity to historical sites such as plantations, etc. we enjoyed the Christmas Light Festival in Natchitoches all day Saturday, the fire pit on Friday night. It was a great weekend!

Shaded Shaded River

There was a canoe available to use so we could take advantage of the river. The shaded trees allowed us to stay outside most of the time. It was perfect for a relaxing vacation. Interior was comfortable and well stocked.

Beautiful House

My husband and I along with some friends ( a total of 6 people) booked this house for the Natchitoches Christmas Festival and it was perfect! Plenty of room for us all. The house was beautiful and in a good location. Everything was clean and just as pictured. Great communication with the owner. Highly recommend this property.

The property was awesome. Near the bank of the river. Access to the river by walking, deck and boat ramp. Plenty of room. Only problem was limited internet and cable limited what we could watch on tv. I’d return again.

Photos inside are accurate. Home was fully stocked with supplies needed for our stay. House is set back on the property. If you are not familiar with the area you might have a difficult time finding it at night. Loved the 2 bedrooms on the 1st floor, perfect for elderly travelers. Host very, very accommodating. Would definitely recommend.

House right on river. Closer in master bedroom moreOf a storage closet than a clothes closet but usable. The dishwasher was not secured and had to hold it in when loading or unloading dishes. Need to leave a set of directions on how to use the tv. Rather cumbersome. Overall great house with great host. We certainly would stay again.

Spiders

Property needs an exterminator. Spiders and webs were everywhere inside and outside the house. Upstairs beds were not the best made lots of noise and mattresses not comfortable on bunk beds. Location of property is very beautiful on the river and everything was good just needs some spiders killed and webs cleaned off walls.

Had to Clean ti Sleep

There were so many living and dead roaches, worms, bettors, spider, lizards and other insects in every room of the house. The bed sheets had to washed before we could sleep on them because of body fluid stains and spots. The floors had to be swept and I had to buy a mop because the one at the property was dry rotted. I was so disappointed. I previously stated at this property in April 2023 without these issues. I have pictures to support. Please let me know how to submit them. I had to pay a cleaning fee, but it didn’t look like it was clean prior to my arrival. I walk through prior to your guest is highly recommend. I would like a full refunds.
