The cottage is old but remodeled on the inside. There was everything we needed. It is very near the Weiser river trail, which is really cool to walk. The property hosts were very accomodating.

Know what to expect

First: no hot tub! I contacted the owners right away when I checked in and couldn't find it, but they said they don't have one and no one has ever told them it's listed as an amenity. However, I do see a May 2024 review that makes the same complaint, so they DID know and worse, they have not corrected this in the description two weeks later. Second, I do see a central heat and air unit but it must not be working. I've seen other complaints about the A/C in the summer and they were using individual room heaters for my stay. I don't know why. It makes it uncomfortable because you can't set the temp on the wall and walk away -- it needs constant intervention. The place seems uncared for. There is a broken pane in the front door held together with clear tape and a cracked side window. It was not real clean -- we needed the hide-a-bed and pulled it out to find crumbs in it and crumbs and pet hair under it. The futon was broken -- I made it work for my stay -- but it also wasn't very clean. It's a place to stay only; a roof over your head. Don't expect much other than that.

Comfortable and quirky.

A family member passed away, so we neded a place to call our own in Weiser for a few days. It was a good spot for 6 adults. The house is cute. The floor plan is the quirky part. You'll have to stay there yourself to appreciate what I'm saying. One bathroom to share was actually easier than we expected. We may use it again and again. Thank you.

They have things to fix but such as the air conditioning, bed frame needs to be changed to a lower one but overall it was fun.

Very nice cottage. Only thing bed was too high for Granny to get in and out of. Need new mattress and bed. Very quiet neighborhood. Peaceful.

False advertising

The internet didnt work. The handle on the tollet broke. I sent the owner a text message on Sunday morning she finally got back to me in the afternoon. I had already pack my thing's up and I left. There was no hot tub like the like it said on the website.

Vacation

The place was clean, we enjoyed meeting you when we arrived. The air conditioning didn’t work and the toilet broke the last night we were there ( I understand those wear out). Overall we enjoyed our visit.
