Red Cliff Cottage is the ideal getaway, on an 8-acre property overlooking the beautiful St. Mary’s Bay, Enjoy the restful seclusion of the Digby neck while the amenities of town are only a ten minute drive away.
Ideal for people who enjoy nature and long walks. A few yards from the driveway is a path leading to a beach that goes on for miles perfect for playing with the dogs. Down the road is Annapolis Royal, Sandy Cove Beach, and Brier Island, the whale watching capital of Nova Scotia.

Fantastic Stay!

We loved staying at this property; it is kitted out with absolutely everything you could want for a lovely stay at the shore. Also, a fantastic location and lots of room for the dog to roam. Would definitely stay here again if we pass this way again in the future.

This was our third stay. We love the cottage location. It is close to so many trails and beaches to enjoy. The cottage is clean, well equipped and peaceful. Hope to return again next year.

Wonderful place to stay.

This rental was extremely well equipped with anything you could need. It was very peaceful and lovely to sit out in the morning with our coffee. I would highly recommend staying here and look forward to returning!

Central for exploring the area

The cottage is very well equipped and it was close to everything we wanted to visit in the area. It was nice to be able to walk for a very long way on the beach.

Wonderful place to stay

We had wonderful days in Red Cliff Cottage. It is so cozy and well equipped. We enjoyed lovely view at St. Mary’s Bay from the veranda. Red Cliff Cottage is very good starting point for many trips, whale watching starting at Westport, Brier Island was an absolute highlight. Thank you very much!

Charming location with privacy

Easy access to property. Home is clean and inviting with all the necessities and more. Private property and a lovely view. Enjoyed visiting areas nearby and walking the beach below. Have already booked again for next June.

Home away from home

We could not have been more pleased with our stay. The cottage is well maintained, and well supplied with everything you could ever need and more. Tastefully decorated and very private. We are definitely rebooking for next year. It is close to a lot of areas to visit also. Highly recommend.

Very nicely furnished and supplied cottage.

Overall we enjoyed our stay and the generous supplies provided. The property was nice and the location very quiet. As we had planned to do whale watching from Brier Island the location was perfect for us, maintaining easy access to Digby. Enjoyed the welcoming gift as well. Thanks Yvonne for maintaining such a comfortable accomodation and responding so quickly to our few questions.

Piece of paradise

This may well have been the best place we’ve rented yet! It was private with a gorgeous view of the bay, so morning coffee on the front porch provided amazing sights, smells & sounds of nature (including birds & wild flowers along with the bay itself). The home had everything you could possibly need or want, and it was so tastefully decorated and stocked. My husband and I truly enjoyed our stay, and would highly recommend this home.

Lovely accommodation

The cottage is beautiful. Very clean, comfortable beds, fabulous view and well appointed with everything you need. The host was great, good communicator and helpful. She has provided a binder of suggestions for places to see and eat. The location is a quiet rural spot about a 12 min. drive from Digby, a charming town with world famous scallops. Annapolis Royal is about a 40 min. drive and has some excellent historical sites that feature the history of the Acadians, dating back to,1606. Highly recommended place to stay as a base for exploring the area, taking a whale watching tour, or just relaxing in the countryside.

Serene and Beautiful

Home is newly built with all modern amenities. A real cooks' kitchen, induction oven, with everything you could need. Decorated so beautifully with little extra touches. Sheets, beds, towels, and blankets all so cozy. The location is very quiet and private with a gorgeous view of the bay. Take a five minute walk down the lane to what can only be described as your own private beach, to see the tides roll in and out, rock and shell hunting. Located close to the town of Digby for essentials, and a short drive to many other interesting hiking and beach areas. Thank you for having us, including our dog who also felt so welcome!
