Wonderful mountain retreat with local site activities like golf, fishing, gym, pool, pickleball courts along with a nice restaurant at the main lodge. Our host provided great hospitality and information for us. I would highly recommend this location for a getaway.

We had a summer-time family reunion and loved the cabin. it was exactly as advertised, with excellent communication with the host. it was warm during the days, but cool at night, and we never had an issue with keeping the temperature comfortable. The lake and amenities are easily walkable and great. The host was incredibly responsive; we had some questions during the stay and had helpful answers within moments. Heartily recommend the Chickadee!

We had a great time staying at the cabin. There is plenty to do there such as fishing, swimming at the beach or indoors when it is raining. They also have golf and miniature golf. It does get pretty warm on the main floor during the day without air conditioning but it is tolerable. I would recommend this cabin!

Our family had a wonderful stay at the Chickadee Chalet! The cabin was exactly what we were hoping it would be: big enough for all of us (7 adults and 3 kids), but with a cabin-feel and useful communal hang-out spaces. The open living/dining/kitchen was perfect for our needs and we also spent significant time on the deck, around the firepit, playing ping pong, and exploring the woods behind the cabin with a toddler looking for slugs. We loved the setting of the cabin: in the woods without close neighbors but with the amenities of the resort available to us. We played pickleball, basketball, putt-putt, used the playground and beach, worked out in the fitness center, hiked, and canoed on the lake. We also did a day-trip to Swallow Falls State Park to take in the stunning waterfalls. The updated bathrooms were exceptionally clean, a feature we really appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked for cooking for a large family. There was a nice selection of board games both upstairs and downstairs. Ellisa was incredibly prompt in responding to questions, although we didn't have many questions because she had been so thorough in giving us helpful information prior to the stay.We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful winter stay

Enjoyed a nice weekend winter stay with friends at the chalet. Ample rooms, comfy beds, abundent supplies, games, and firewood in a beautiful location. It snowed 4 inches the second day we were there and the host kindly extended our checkout time so we had enough time to shovel out our cars

良かった点 : ロケーション
We had a great time a Chickadee Chalet (including our group birdwatchers seeing a chickadee). While the weather outside was rainy, our plans were not impacted. We planned to play Pathfinder all weekend. The ping pong table made a perfect game table for all our laptops and maps. The amenities at the cabin were perfect for our needs. The kitchen was a nice size, the refrigerator/freezer was a great size. The dishwasher was big enough to keep us in clean plates and silverware. The bathrooms were nice and water pressure in the showers was really good. And working with Ellisa was fantastic. We had all the information we could use and then some for enjoying the Chalet and the surrounding area. Thank You, Ellisa! I think anyone who stays at Chickadee Chalet should have a great time.

We enjoyed our 3-night stay at the Cozy Cabin. We had a family group of 9 for our stay. We loved the large family room connected to the kitchen and the large outside deck immediately outside with a great propane gas grill. All communications with our host, Ellisa, were excellent, and we really appreciated her personal welcome note and the bottle of wine provided on arrival. Bill C.

We are outdoor enthusiasts; seeking experiences in nature whenever possible. We enjoy spending quality time with family and friends.
It is our hope that guests will enjoy our lodgings to gather comfortably and make wonderful memories.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

This cabin offers a comfortable space to be together and make new memories while also offering many recreational opportunities both on the cabin's property (fire pit and group yard games) and in the surrounding resort. Within 1.5 miles or less are all of the Alpine Lake Resort ammenities including a lodge restaurant, a pub, 18 hole beautiful golf course, tennis, pickle ball, basketball, dog park, lake paddling and swimming, fishing, walking/hiking, playground, XC skiing/snow shoeing, sledding, indoor swimming pool, well-equipped workout gym, various resort festivals, etc. Within 40 miles or less are lots of state parks, white water rafting, biking, mountain towns for shopping/church, snow skiing, motor boating, breweries, wineries, farm tours and many more adventures.

この宿泊施設の特徴

We allow our guests to use our canoe (in warm months) on Alpine Lake only for free as long as everything is returned. We also allow our guests to use the firewood, as long as it is available. We provide you with pool passes to get you into most of the resort ammenities for free. We give you one bag of complimentary marhmallows and roasting sticks. We also provide you with a cup of bird feed so that you can enjoy the multitude of birds at the feeder right outside the cabin's main windows. All linens, towels, pillows, cooking utensils, etc are provided. One of everything (toilet paper, paper towels, etc) is provided until you can get to the grocery store to stock up.
Although there is a crazy amount of things to do within 19-45 miles from this cabin, there are loads of things to do for all ages within this cabin's Alpine Lake Resort community as well. In addition, we find that most people love the relaxing moments they get to have in the cabin, communing with family and friends and/or slowly enjoying a refreshing cup of whatever on the cabin's decks and/or around the fire pit while enjoying the wildlife (expect to see deer, bears, oppossum, birds, etc) and surrounding lush forest of oaks, maples, firs, rhodendrons, ferns and mountain laurels.
