The management company was quick to answer my questions about the property and sent an email that we could check in early. They even sent an email wishing us safe travels home. The house is a new build as advertised. It has an inviting feel when opening the door. The furnishings are comfortable. One guest wants to come back for a week and just sit on the main deck and read books. The primary attraction on the main floor is the wall of windows and doors that lets in the beautiful view of field, forest and mountains beyond. The sound of the creek is a soothing greeting as you walk to the front door after a long drive. None of us wanted to leave at the end of our stay and would have extended it if the home had been available.There were a few minor problems that could easily be corrected. First, there no coffee filters provided for the drip coffee maker. Second, we could not find any hot pads to use with the pots and pans. Third, there was no kitchen dish cloth or sponge. Fourth, one corner of the area rug in the great room has curled up. Someone has attempted to resolve the problem by taping it down. That hasn't worked. This could be a safety issue especially for guests with small children. I would recommend turning the rug around so that the curled edge is next to the fireplace wall rather than in the entrance area to the great room. None of these issues greatly impacted our enjoyment of this home but are suggestions so that future guests will not encounter them.
