Our stunning cottage surrounded by nature features a one-acre lot, 3 fully-furnished bedrooms with 2 queen and 2 double beds to comfortably sleep 6+1, and 1.5 bathrooms. Enjoy cooking in our fully-equipped kitchen with complimentary coffee & tea. Take advantage of our pool table, outdoor fire pit, HD TV, BBQ, workstation, and high-speed internet, among other amenities. Only an hour from the GTA, and minutes to Presqu'ile, downtown Brighton, and North Beach provincial parks, as well as Sandbanks beach and Prince Edward County wineries, our cottage is the perfect place to take a break and unwind!

Guests will have full access to the entire property, including a beautiful one-acre private retreat, perfect for spending quality time with your loved ones. Our self-check-in and checkout process is designed for your convenience, allowing you to enjoy your stay without the need to meet the host in person.

Within minutes of driving, you can enjoy a plethora of activities such as dining at the famous Harbourview Restaurant, exploring downtown Brighton, renting paddle boards, fishing, skating, ice fishing, cross country, hiking, bicycle trails and more! The property is located near Presqu'ile Provincial Park and Brighton Speedway. Additionally, guests can take advantage of the outdoor fire pit for a cozy night in.

Within an hour of driving distance, you can explore the renowned Sandbanks beach, visit the famous wineries in Prince Edward County, hit the slopes at Batawa Ski Hill, and discover many other attractions in the surrounding area.

We warmly welcome you to our cozy cottage retreat! Please note that our charming cottage operates on well water and a septic system, which adds to its unique appeal. We would like to inform you that the Jacuzzi tub and electric fireplace are currently out of order and not available for use during your stay. Additionally, there are no curtains, but rest assured that the trees surrounding the property provide complete privacy and protection.

To ensure a peaceful and enjoyable stay for all guests, we kindly request that the following house rules are observed:

No parties or events are allowed on the property.
Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the cottage.
Overnight guests are not allowed unless prior approval is granted by the host.
Please remove your shoes upon entering the cottage to help keep our space clean and comfortable for all guests.
For your safety, please cover the firepit with the screener at all times and properly extinguish the fire before leaving the area.
To respect the peace and quiet of our community, we kindly request that loud noise be avoided after 10 PM.
Before leaving, please ensure that the BBQ is properly turned off and the propane gas tank is closed.
Finally, please turn off all lights and lock all doors when leaving the cottage.

Super nice host! However, we had problems with ants in the house. The host offered to pay us to go get some traps. Also, the cleanliness wasn’t very good. There was the smell of humidity in the upstairs bathroom. Some stuff also need to get repaired in the cottage, like the faucet in the bathroom and the water dispenser in the kitchen. I think this place has a lot of potential if those things are taken care of!

Lovely Cottage

The full season cottage was a wonderful, peaceful retreat. The property is secluded, and quiet. The fully equipped cottage had everything we needed. Six Adults (3 couples) stayed for a weekend, we slept very comfortably. One bedroom on each floor. We also had a small senior dog. We brought our own dog bed, and he enjoyed his stay and the property as well. There is a long unpaved driveway with plenty of parking. The hosts were quick to reply, although we had no issues, we just reached out once to let them know our arrival time and they provided check-in instructions almost instantly. I would definitely stay here again! It was a memorable stay, and I would highly recommend it.

Older cottage but good homebase

This stay was really good. If you have small children under 7 You may just want to make sure you have eyes in the back of your head. You really can't beat the price and the location if you're in the brighton area. Tim hortons is about fifteen minutes if that and mcdonald's is about six minutes down.The road. This place worked for all of our needs.So, we can enjoy a celebration of life without having any real concerns. The owners were very accommodating and easy to contact if needed.

Family Wedding

While we liked that we could bring our dog, the general condition of the property is poor. With a heavy smoker smell and junk around the property. It has uncomfortable furniture and fixtures that are broken. The jet tub does not work . The decking and walk ways are broken and rotted and unsafe. I would never stay here again if given a choice. Also way over priced for the value given.

Beautiful Private Cottage

The location of this cottage is awesome. You’re surrounded on trees on all sides which provides perfect privacy, although bedrooms have no blinds or curtains so it gets bright in the bedrooms early. Towns only 5 minutes away which makes it nice for those quick trips into town. Cottage was nice and clean, beds are comfortable, and kitchen had pretty much everything we needed to cook. The yard was a good size, although the grass was quite long (granted it was the end of October so last grass cutting may have been already done) but because of the mild weather and long grass we had quite a problem with Ticks. Just a heads up to check yourself, your kids, and your pets everytime you come indoors. (2-3 ticks on both dogs and 1 or 2 on us every-time we came inside from the yard, but found and removed them quickly) Overall this cottage was exactly as advertised. Would definitely consider staying here again and would definitely recommend.

Good location for Presqu'ile park

We enjoyed our 3 days in this area. The location of this property was perfect fit us. The bed was very comfy. The place was clean and the kitchen seemed well equipped though we only used it for breakfast. We had never visited Presqu'ile before and it is a delight. We found some very good eating spots. Especially the Whistling Duck for it's large waterfront patio. Food was good too. Also try the Gables in Brighton. Very good.

Quiet break from the city

My family and I were looking for a nice place close to Toronto that we could use as our base as we traveled around Ontario. This place was perfect for our needs, it had everything we needed and was big enough for a large family. The lower floor is a little dated, but everything was clean and it is clear that the owners are putting a lot of effort in updating and maintaining the cabin, so I would expect continued improvements over time.
