New construction 5 Bedroom 3 1/2 bath home centrally located in the beautiful Black Hills of South Dakota. Home is designed to sleep 12-14 guests comfortably. Favorite features include TV’s in each bedroom, large TV’s in living room and family room, inside fireplace, outside hot tub and fire pit, and a large game room with many options. This home is in the Powderhouse Pass development and features a community clubhouse with pool table and shuffle board as well as a community swimming pool. Plenty of room for parking trailers for snowmobiles and ATV's. Short walk to the community building and clubhouse with outdoor heated pools (one open year round), splash pad, and fire pits.

Our family always has an amazing experience at the kickback shack black hills! The house is beautiful. And we adore the owners. Kids love playing in the game room and we always enjoy the hot tub. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances and very organized to make it easy to prep meals. All the bedrooms are beautiful and the beds are so comfortable. We also love the amenities from the club house. Our kids had a great time swimming in the two pools all week. The house has a great location. Close to hiking trials, and ATV rentals and so much more. We can’t wait to go back!!

We came up for Sturgis and our group loved this place!! The driveway and location are amazing. The kitchen had everything and more that you would need to feed a group of 14. There was more than enough room for everyone. The hot tub was a nice touch after a long day on the bikes. The community centers pool was great to cool down on those really hot days. The garage had ample space for all the bikes. Which was awesome, since you never know what the weather might do. We will for sure be staying at this place the next time we are up!!!!

What we wanted!!

We stayed a week and it was wonderful. The location and everything that was provided was great. The beds were very comfortable; the game room was fantastic. Brad was great; very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again.

Kickback Shack is The Perfect Place to Rent

The Kickback Shack was all we needed and more. This property was super nice. Plenty of rooms with very comfortable beds. The house had all the things we needed as far as a grill, kitchen utensils, laundry supplies, etc. Game room and hot tub were also very nice. We brought side by sides out on our trip, and this property had extra room out front of the garage to park everything. We had three trucks with trailers and still had enough room to park the side by sides in the garage at night. The house was really clean. Definitely staying here for our next trip out to deadwood!

Great family get away!

We’ve stayed several times in the Black Hills.This property and neighborhood was one of our favorites! Plenty of space and things to do for all ages. Host was wonderful on communication. Very much enjoyed our stay!

Thanksgiving 2024

Thanksgiving is always WONDERFUL to spend with Family! Our tradition was BLESSED beyond measure with this FULLY stocked beautiful home nestled in the trees and what the Hills has to offer. Very comfortable & clean for our children and grandchildren! Kitchen FULLY stocked, high chair, games, toys and books for the kiddos, Hot Tub to welcome us all, phenomenal Location to do a little Deadwood and take in the Christmas North Pole train ride from Hill City. Wouldn't change a thing! Great communication with the host!

Beautiful Home

Loved our time at the Black Hills. This home was beautiful and well taken care of. Every room was amazing and every detail from the blanket/ throws to the coffee mugs were lovely. Great house for extended family

We were glad to have enough bedrooms and bathrooms for everyone, plus great common areas to spend time together. The game room was a lot of fun. Missed the hot tub but enjoyed the pool. Kitchen was well stocked.

Enjoyable stay! Kickback Shack was all we could hope for!

Family and friends really enjoyed our stay at the Kickback Shack. Everything was clean and organized for our stay -- the house is spacious with an open layout. Everything we needed was there. The kids enjoyed the clubhouse and outdoor pool. We would definitely rent again if we find ourselves in the area. Many thanks to the great hosts!

South Dakota adventure

There were 6 of us, 2 seniors, 2adults, and 2 teenagers. Accommodations were excellent. Plenty of room for everyone. Games room and hot tub were a big hit with everyone. Kitchen had everything. Used the community pools several times. Our stay was wonderful.

Skiing at Terry Peak

We took our family and kids’ friends to Terry Peak to ski before Christmas. The Kickback Shack was so clean, so spacious, so comfortable, and so relaxing. It was even better than advertised! The few issues we had were promptly resolved by the property manager and communication was seamless. We had a fabulous time and hope to return again in the summer!

Wonderful Getaway

This was a large new, wonderful, clean, beautiful, modern, easy access home. We were happy the garages were available for our vehicles as storms went through the area while staying. The owner was easy to work with responding quickly to any of our questions during our stay. It was absolutely perfect for our group. For all of these reasons, we will definitely be looking at this property to rent again. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Beautiful home / larger than pictures look!

Questions or concerns home owner was in contact within 2 hrs max each time. AMAZING JOB! Two washer/dryer sets were perfect for our group of 11. Two refrigerators. Room for 7 motorcycles (could have fit more) and chairs , coolers for evening gathering (in the driveway). We also hung on the deck some nights while grilling. Plenty of dishes to cook breakfast and dinners at the house and a table we could enjoy a meal together.

Kickback Shack is a newly constructed home with most amenities that vacationers are looking for. There are plenty of private spaces as well as several areas for groups to visit and relax. There are 5 bedrooms with Smart TVs and king beds. One includes a bunk bed, also. A Loft with desk and futon provides space for work and for extra sleeping needs. There is a Living Room area with a fireplace; both Living and Family rooms have a large screen Smart TV; a Family room with wet bar, extra refrigerator, and ice maker; and a Game Room that includes a pool table, ping pong, darts, foosball, shuffle board, air hockey and a multi-game table top video game including Pac Man, Dig Dug and many others. There are numerous decks and patios with seating, a hot tub, gas grill, a gas fire pit, and a gas fireplace in the living room. In addition, there are many popular activities close by year round.

This property has parking for cars and trailers as well as some off-site parking available in the Powder House Pass Development. There are paved roads and fire hydrants close and throughout the development. The Community Building which is a short walk, is well kept and will accommodate large groups. This community space also includes a table for games, a pool table and shuffleboard. There are two outdoor heated pools with the smaller one available year round. A splash pad for children and a couple fire pits with seating are available for your enjoyment.
