Felt like a bait and switch. Margaritaville doesn’t like VBRO

Was warned not to mention VBRO by property owner and now see why. They do not like VBRO at that property. Was told this by the ones who rented me this “unit”. Checkin was like a hotel. Whatever room was available you get. I got a horrible view in the worst building possible. Exhaust fan was’t working so maintenance came by took the cover off and hardwired the fan on. From then on we had a gaping hole in the bathroom and constant fan whirring. This resort is on a hill. They do have golf carts but if you don’t want to wait be prepared to climb stairs. Biggest complaint is the smell. The beach is in a bay that produces a LOT of seaweed. Get ready for the smell. they try and clean it up but the smell is very strong. Feel like the ads on VBRO were misleading. Instead of a courtyard view with swaying palm trees i got a cart path and a bush. Very sad this has happened to my family. Don’t let it happen to you.
