After winding your way up the mountain in historic CB South you will find your resting place nestled snuggly in the trees. This apartment is your little piece of heaven with all the modern comforts you can hope for. This is the perfect place for the couple's getaway or "small" family adventures. This apartment is tucked back into the trees where you can sit and enjoy the views. You have two decks to relax on while you stay with us. The sun-warmed front deck faces the neighboring home and driveway, but because of the driveway cutout, amazing views of the mountain can be seen. The other, cooler deck is tucked into the surrounding trees with plenty of wilderness "feel" where deer often pass by and true solitude is found. 

This above garage apartment with queen bed is perfect for two people. There is a sleeper sofa in the living room. It is small, but doable. 

Winter! November-March 4x4 is necessary-
In the winter, the windy dirt roads leading to the home and driveway can be slippery! 4x4 is advised!! (No Doulies or trailers ever) This is a true mountain drive. The correct vehicle is strongly advised. The parking can be tight, so please bring only 1 vehicle. There are several homes sharing the driveway

The house was tidy. Everything was organized and easy to find. Only complaint we had was the bedding was dirty. There were white stains and crumbs on the sheets. Both the sheets and the comforter smelled like another persons perfume. I saw a section in the book that said to leave beds unmade so that housekeeping knows if they need to change it. I don't know if that's what happened, but we had to wash bedding the first night of our stay. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

If ur looking for a romantic geta away don’t stay here….not very private no curtains in living area one sofa hard as a rock. There was no cozy sitting area. Zero comfortable chairs. Views were amazing!! If u only need a warm bed and toilet that flushes this place is for you. Neighbor tenants use the garage below making noise every time the opener runs. Enjoy:)

Yes, a hot tub would be great, but overall, it was a beautiful setting, very private and tastefully decorated. Perhaps a few more items in the kitchen would have been helpful. Like 4 coffee cups instead of just three (our reservation was for 4), A bowl to make salad in, and maybe some wineglasses. Thanks, though, it was a great stay.

Very quiet at night, which was great for us because we got up at 5:00 AM every day to hike.The apartment is clean and spacious with good amenities and good proximity to trails and shopping.

10/10 rental for mountain getaway

The views from this property are breathtaking, the apartment was exceptionally clean and well stocked when we arrived. The hosts provided all the necessities like pots and pans, plates, silverware, soaps and shampoo, and clean linens. The road leading to the property is a dirt road and was a bit washed out but our Nissan Altima had no issues accessing the property, just be aware it’s bumpy. We had amazing views from each of the balconies, and being able to open the windows in the evenings to let in the mountain air was so peaceful. The addition of a washer and dryer was such a plus, leaving for home without any dirty clothes to wash made going home just a little easier. Overall I would rate our stay a 10/10, Jenny was very communicative and helpful, the property was amazing, and we were had a great stay!

Beautifully maintained property, lovely abd helpful service!

We were visiting family in Crested Butte South and wanted a clean, cosy and spacious place to stay close by. The apartment was perfect for us with all the amenities we needed and beautiful views over the valley. Would definitely recommend!!

We stayed for a about a weak and a half and it was wonderful. Perfectly described and exactly what we were looking for. The two decks had great views.

Beautiful spot.

Bed is smaller than a regular queen and not comfortable. Kitchen missing some bare essentials such as ice. Garage will wake you up every week day morning when the neighbor goes to work. Fire alarm went off at 1 am and property manager told us that had happened because of a faulty smoke alarm. Very disturbing. So beautiful.
